    My Arlo product I purchased is the most easiest, convenient, and simple design I have used before. I will never buy any other brand other than this one. I suggest this to anyone who wants quality for cheaper reliable than other brands.

    I purchased an Arlo security camera from Best Buy on July 3, 2024. I installed it the following day. Spent an additional $90 on an Arlo subscription for added features. On August 18, the camera failed and, with Arlo support, I have been unable to restore it to proper working order. I have spent many hours trying to get it to work. Today it is not working at all. Now I don't don't want the camera. Best Buy will not refund after 15 days. I'm stuck with this junk. Their response is essentially, after 15 days, you can't return it, even if it's defective! Arlo is worthless. The same can happen to you. Unbelievable! Trash camera. Trash company. Trash seller.

      Thanks for sharing your review. Compatibility with an Arlo Smart Hub is not supported out of the box, but compatibility with an Arlo Smart Hub is planned on a future firmware release. An Arlo Subscription is not required for the Essential 2 Outdoor Camera to work, you can access the cameras live stream, 2-way audio as we all receive standard notifications.

    Picture quality is okay, however even on battery saving modes or balanced mode to conserve image quality and battery life it still seems to drain rather quickly. Other than that it does what its supposed to do

    AWFUL customer support. These cameras used to be great when they had a base station and Pro 2 series. I Would stay far away from these now.
