Even night shots are great. It picks up birds in my yard. I have two of them and they never let me down. When I am away I can watch my home even out of the country.

Arlo is no longer a good value for home monitoring

But Arlo as a company unscrupulously raises their price to monitor their camera every year and the total infrastructure (Camera and monitoring) are no longer a good value. But since I bought hundreds of dollars worth of cameras, I now have to pay hundreds of dollars a year to monitor them. Do your research before deciding on a whole home monitoring system.

One of my cameras quit working so I asked Best Buy to identify a camera that would work with my existing system. This was recommended. I was skeptical when I got it since it doesn't allow removal of a battery for charging and seemed to be different enough to not be compatible. I gave it a try and am very pleased with the camera and upgrade to the software. I am considering upgrading the old - working - cameras. I also appreciated the work of the BB online representative who spent a long time making sure that this camera would work with my existing base station.
