I may need to still set mine up because the battery seems to be going down kinda fast. Its been about 3 weeks since ive installed in and its around 25 percent. But my camera also goes off all the time due to dogs running in and out of the house. You can set it up to only record during certain times of the day.

They have a great quality image and build, The biggest issues are that the battery lasts around 1 week, and after the trial version of the software, you cant record. So I decide to return them.

I DON'T KNOW IF THEY ARE GOOD CAMERAS BECAUSE THEY JUST WASN'T THE RIGHT ONES FOR MY HOUSE. THESE ARE WIRELESS, I NEED HARDWIRE. ONE CAMERA WAS INSTALLED IN THE FRONT OF MY HOUSE BUT THE VIEW DIDN'T COVER MY WHOLE FRONT AND THE NOZZLE WAS NOT ADJUSTABLE. ALSO THE BATTERY ONLY LASTED FOR 2 DAYS BEFORE IT DIED. BUT THEY WAS SMALL AND CUTE.

We needed to add a camera to our Arlo system. Works great and easy to set up. One thing that I was bummed about is the battery can not be removed from the camera to charge it like my other cameras. Poor research on my end. Other than that the camera does what it is supposed to do.

I have the first generation Arlo at home, it's not perfect but it does the job, then I bought the Arlo Pro 2, it's also not perfect but it does the job. Then to replace 2 Arlo Pro 2 cameras I bought these Arlo essential 2k cameras, when you buy them Arlo gives you a 30-day trial where the camera saves the videos in the cloud which you can see from the application, it tells you if it detects a person or a car, you can call a contact that you program from the camera live. After 30 days the crappy camera does absolutely nothing, you can only see it live when you enter the application, it doesn't take photos, it doesn't record videos, much less detect people. The problem is that when the 30-day trial ends, the opportunity to return it also ends, which is when you realize that you bought a crappy camera, the worst thing is that the current Arlo cameras work with the same system. I have 6 cameras, they expect me to pay $15 per camera per month to be able to activate the functions of a regular security camera. This is not a cheap device, but if you are not willing to pay a ridiculous monthly fee, it is not good for anything more than a paperweight. I bought a $20 camera on Amazon, it has its own server where you can see if it detected a person and it also tracks them since the camera moves, it is 2k, it has night vision, it sends notifications to the cell phone and to Amazon Alexa, it has digital zoom, it saves videos and organizes them by date or type of detection, in short, a $20 camera is much better and really a surveillance camera.
