I have arlo cameras in my home and they're great! Tried on several phones through the Arlo app but could not connect

This was an easy setup and addition to current service. I love being able to check in and talk to my 3 golden retrievers during the day. Love the privacy shield option when I’m home. Video and audio are great. Perfect for what I need.

Didnt like it . Not easy to connect with my andriod phone . Had to return it and went with a ring product

Arlo customer support is non existent and therefore the product stinks

Easy set up and great picture quality. I have other brand cameras and the picture isn't as good and cost more. The Arlo seems to be winning!

I have an existing security system with one camera but have two points of entry for my loft. In shopping around for a solution to cover the other zone i knew i wanted something simple but that allowed me access remotely and could deal with me having two cats running around the house. Enter the Arlo - which does everything i need it to do and so much more. My favorite feature is the geofencing arm and disarm. The camera is in a position that I’d be setting it off constantly if i were at my desk working. With this feature the camera doesn’t come on until after i leave the predefined circle. The device was completely effortless to set up and Arlo’s app does everything I need. There is subscription services available for cloud storage and monitoring that I will consider when the trial is up. Overall this is a solid solution for being able to monitor anything you’d like and you don’t need battery capabilities.

Could not install as the App couldn’t see the device

I already have several wireless Arlo cameras, and I decided it was time to add a wired one to my inside network. Arlo does an amazing job with their cameras and this is no exception. WOW. I am able to leave this plugged in and it can monitor our entrance from the inside now. Well done. I enjoy having one wired in and always on power and the 1080 picture is very clear.. In the box you will get the camera, mount, AC adapter and even some screws if you decided to hang it on the wall. BONUS you get a privacy feature. This is a snap in place cover that goes over the camera and mic. A great feature to use when you are home so everyone knows you are not recording their activity, rather you take it off when you will be gone for security. This camera works extremely well in the Arlo app on your mobile device and allows for all the same security settings as the wireless models, when to record motion, etc...

Very unhappy with my purchase. Broken cable right out of the box

This is my second Arlo camera. First is a wire free outside camera which is great, but requires a battery charge every 2 months or so which means taking it off the mount, bringing it in to charge for 6 hours, then going back outside to re-mount. This new one is wired which is nice, no more charging every so often. Since I already have an Arlo camera, setup was quite easy. Make sure you already have the Arlo app downloaded. You will need this and it is required for setup. In the box you have the camera, a wall plug, a power cord that attaches to the wall plug, a wall mount adapter, and some screws plus installation manuals. Honestly, you don't need any manuals. Just download the app, click the "add camera" button, and follow the steps. You also need the app during installation because it pops up a QR code and requires you to scan it with the camera you are setting up. So make sure you have good lighting in the room. Setup took me probably about 5 minutes. Another 5 afterwards to download the firmware updates. These Arlo camera are nice. They come with a free 3 month subscription trial. But that's why I took off 1 star for my review. During the free trial, you get all the bells and whistles. Alerts, motion alerts, recording storage, etc. After that ends though, these are pretty pointless without buying a subscription. Without one, you no longer get any type of alerts on your phone. Someone could be right outside your house breaking in, right in front of the camera, and you would not get an alert. So what's the point of this? Without a subscription all you can do is "view" the camera from your phone and see what's going on, but you can't record or store anything. So again, unless you have the app open and are viewing the camera, you would never know what was going on, and at that point, what's the point of having security at all? So you will need a subscription. You can buy it buy camera at $2.99 + tax per camera. Or you can buy a plan that covers all your cameras. After my 3 month trial on the new camera, I will need to decide which way I want to go. Other companies like Nest by Google switched to a more customer friendly option where there is 1 subscription choice and it covers all your cameras. That is $6 a month. Arlo needs to go that route and just make 1 plan for all the cameras. Overall camera is great, and I would recommend.

After a week with the camera I like how easy it was to setup and add to my dashboard. The privacy screen is a real nice touch too.

Easy to install and great video quality. I have this camera setup in the corner of my living room. Call me old school but I like that I don’t have to worry about changing the battery.

This wired, indoor option was perfect for my needs. I'm using two essential indoor cameras to keep a eye on my elderly cat while I'm at work. Knowing that I can see when and how well she's napping and eating allows me to better understand how she is doing in the last few months I have with her. Also, having the privacy screen when not is use gives me general peace of mind.
