We bought this to replace a three year old Arlo indoor/outdoor camera that stopped detecting motion. This camera was very easy to set up and looks really nice too. We like the fact that we can close the camera eye shield for privacy. Hopefully this camera last longer than the last one.

Good quality camera and very easy to set up. However, I would think that pricing it at 75 or 79 would be a better bang for the dollar. Quality is only 1080p instead of 4k. We are in 2022.

I was struggling with my old cameras which were blinks. And I finally purchased 2 Arlo indoor cameras and omg hands down best camera you can get for your at home protection. The clarity, motion sensors, and view are amazing.

I love all 6 of my outdoor Arlo cameras and decided to add the indoor one to be able to protect my animals when I am not home. Now I feel like we have protection 24 hours a day with our Arlo camera's!!!

Great clarity, two color options, shutter has no intuitive way of keeping open - not a quick find in the instructions anyway. Unlike original there is no PoE model to purchase. The ball-joint doesn't seem as sturdy as original - yet works... would be nice to bend a bit more backward considering the magnetic mount on the bottom was removed and so were the inserts and screws. Product seems to cost less, yet paying the same as the original. Wish the lag would've been improved. Overall mostly the same as original, prettier, build quality could be improved - the added shutter feature is nice.

This is a very good camera from a video perspective. Only draw back is that when connected to the Arlo hub, I cannot control it individually.

I’m a big fan of arlo with two doorbells and another camera. I wanted one in the house that didn’t need charged batteries so this fit the bill perfectly..

This product was easy to set up and works well. You can check video anytime on your phone and even speak to visitors.

Camera works great and has a great picture. You can use the mic to talk and you can hear everything. I also love the privacy cover.

I previously had the Q indoor camera, and had to get the new Essential when it stopped working. It fits the bill for what I need, I am just not a fan of the privacy screen. I wish there was an option to always leave it open, even if disarmed. Also the set up instructions are incorrect - if you hold the sync button too long it factory resets the camera. During set up, you just need to press it for a second.

I added this camera to my existing arlo service. it's easy to set up and I can see clear view through web.

This camera is very good for its intended use. In fact, I plan to by another one. During the setup, the camera has to recognize a barcode and then "chime". My camera would not recognize the code. And Arlo's customer service is non-existent until AFTER you set up your camera and become a subscriber. Arlo has some growing pains to go through. I am sure they will be successful.
