The only thing negative about it is that the cameras die out of battery real quick. Store employee told us they last about a week but in reality they last only like 2 days and then you have to charge them again.

Battery life/trial period

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the original Arlo cameras and I bought these to replace the older original version (bough in 2015). These newer cameras don’t hold a battery charge over 2 weeks when placed in a “busy” area. To charge the camera you must remove from the mount and a full charge can take up to 4 hours. After the initial trial version expired I was no longer able to see any activity that my cameras captured. To see any activity I would need to purchase a plan which I never had to with the original set or arlo cameras. The only positive I liked about this newer set is the two way audio, sound and picture quality. So, unless you’re open to purchasing a plan to view recording history, I do not recommend.

Owned for 7 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this cam but so far it constantly disconnecting from the internet, there is no way to reconnect it back without physically re-connecting the camera back to the internet. You only get 1 month of free video and after that you loose all the features of the camera. If you want the videos, you would have 2 options, the first option is for $20 a month and the second option is for $30 a month. After the free month, you only get to view live video but that's pretty much about it. To me, all of this is not worth it at all.
