This camera works exactly as promised. The software isn't perfect, but it's very good. We get piece of mind by being able to observe and keep track of activity.

The camera works great! I'm using it at my mom's home and seeing her fom afar (she's in Florida, I'm in Connecticut) is peace of mind. Resolution and sound are great.

Great camera. Only thing i would say is that it has about a delay when you get the notification about something .it not a long delay but other then that its a great camera

These are surprisingly capable cameras and the arlo platform is really good with notifications and video detection of people vs animals vs vehicles.

Nice Pan Tilt function of this security camera. Down side is not connect to my current based unit. Should have an option to record on local memory card or flash drive.

I recently added the Arlo Essential Pan and Tilt camera to my existing Arlo system, and it’s been a fantastic upgrade. Setup was smooth—no base station required, which is a huge plus. The camera connects directly to Wi-Fi, making it easy to place anywhere with a strong signal. It has a 130º base field of view and with the 360º pan and the 180º tilt functionality is excellent for indoor coverage. I can remotely swivel the camera to check different parts of the room, and the 2K resolution delivers sharp, detailed footage. It also has 12x digital zoom and night vision. Motion detection is responsive, and the alerts are accurate, especially with smart object recognition. I also appreciate the two-way audio and built-in siren, which add an extra layer of security.
