    Really like this product. It gives you the ability to add it to your Arlo Hub or your wireless system. I elected to add it to my Arlo Hub

    The store associates raved about Arlo. Bought one and I'm pretty disappointed. I have to turn the camera off unless I'm expecting a package or the battery is dead in a month. Oh, and of course, the battery can't be swapped out and replaced with a fully charged one like in my previous camera? Way to go Arlo! Poor design and execution.....

    Camera quality is very nice during the day but unless you have outside light source, quality is greatly diminished.

    Honestly these cameras suck. They are always losing signal. Really doesn’t record much along with having to buy a membership after three months for them not to really work good. I can walk right past them and they still won’t see me at times. If you’re looking for security cameras these aren’t it.

    Could Not Connect Directly to Wireless Router

    Not a great experience. Our Arlo hub is too old for this camera, but you are supposed to be able to connect it directly to a wireless router. It wouldn't connect. After a lot of time on chat with Arlo Support, which was pretty generic and unhelpful, it still wouldn't work, so we had to return it.

      The Arlo Essential Spotlight camera does connect directly to WiFi, but you need to ensure you are connecting to a 2.4 GHz network.

    Don’t buy this product. Inferior to the pro in picture quality, video and alert lag and the battery life is poor. Considering the fact that you have to physically remove the device from the wall to charge, the battery life is by far the most limiting factor on this device. Spend the extra money for a pro kit or buy another brand. This is the third Arlo product I have owned and seriously considering going to other brands after this.

    Not bad just sucks you gotta pay a subscription fee so could be better for what you pay for the whole setup there should be no additional fees

    it does not seem to pick up the motion going on. You have to be close enough to pick up movement, unlike the arlo pro2

    This purchase wasn’t that great I mean it had a lot of lag in the camera itself maybe that’s because the WiFi network needs to be stronger but I didn’t think it was impressive for the price
