    Don’t recommend. Would return if I would have kept the box. They disconnect quite often and don’t have a removable battery so you have to charge the camera itself about twice a week.

      For the best experience with the Night Vision feature make sure that no walls, tables, or other objects are too close to your camera. If any objects is within 2.5 inches (6.4 cm) of the sides or front of your camera, it can reflect IR back into the camera lens and cause glare or hazy video, especially at night. You may also consider adding an external light that highlights the area where your Arlo Essential Spotlight Camera is pointed at to help improve your night vision experience.

    good stuff for the price, easy to set up if you need something fast. not impressed with site though, i wanted cloud recording but their site is not working??? 4 cameras for 300 bucks is cool. you can access on your phone or pc, but not simultaneously, uggh. decent pic quality even through a window

    Camera batter ran down within a month not the 6 months listed. I fully charged the batteries on each device before mounting them. I even have the brightness settings on -1 and I only received about 4 weeks of battery power.

    Battery drains in one day! Best Buy refused to take back even for a store credit because it was over the time, would have spent the $300 right then with a new product! Bought solar panels to charge and they didn’t work either

    Horrible battery. Six months translates to roughly 3-3 days. I have adjusted every single setting. I’m a few days past the 15 day return, so I’m hoping Arlo will replace this crap.

    Like everything about arlo this camera is worthless if you dont subscribe to there cloud storage, after trail end in 3 months it will stops recording locally. peice of garbage, just like everything arlo makes.

    Item failed less than 6 months after it was purchased and not returnable because it is past the 15 day window, and was bought from BestBuy and not directly from Arlo. Not a very reliable product. Very disappointed!!

    just like the other Arlos I've purchased, the battery on this died veryt quickly. After fully charging this, I mounted it and the battery was dead after 6 days.

    Do not buy this, this camera will stop recording in the app til you turn off and back on this happen almost everyday and battery do not last 6 months but about 5-10 days

    On the box it says it has a 6 month battery life and after 1 month of use, the battery dies almost every week. Constant charging makes it extremely annoying.

    I bought the Essential Camera spotlight just over a year ago. I enjoyed the cameras while it lasted. The video quality was ok and I have no problems until just over a year in, The camera no longer wanted to hold a charge, After charging the battery to 100% it would drop to 75% within a few hours, finally losing the total charge after 2 days. I did contact Arlo support and was advised to reboot, move the camera to a less active location, and remove it from the base station, all failed, I would have expected a longer life for the price of the camera. very disappointed

    I purchased this “camera” in December of 2020. I’ve had nothing but issues with it. It constantly fails to respond, record, notify even though it has full reception. I wouldn’t recommend this product to my worse enemy.
