    Hard to setup and I didn't get to use it. There was complications with the camera setup.

    Stay away from Arlo cameras, I bought 10 and they are so bad, let’s start with the 1-2-3 minute delay notification, and then you installed them with the charger cable supplied 24/7 they freeze and you have to reset them. In others words they stop working. Some times they don’t catch objets or persons moving so bad, I would never buy again

    Doesn’t work with previous arlo base stations rendering it pointless to stay with arlo and pay the monthly fee

    I love my Arlo essential spotlight camera and doorbell. It’s affordable. It works great I see clear in the plans are amazing. if you haven’t already, I would invest in Arlo, especially if you cannot afford your big brands like the ring doorbell or Google nest This is the same quality at half the price. I have two essentials spotlight cameras, and a doorbell and again they are just amazing. I get notified for everything. I love how you can arm your home. It’s great.

    1. the camera does not pick up all motion 2. the recording doesn't last long enough 3. The company is impossible to reach for support and only gives websites to turn to.

    The first one I bought, the battery would not charge. Arlo sent me a replacement that worked great for 6 months, then the battery died and would not charge again.

    To start off this is definitely an Essential package and not much is included in the box. This is not a downside though I look it as a good thing and less to worry about. Setting up the camera was super simple. No wiring or anything necessary you just use the three included screws to drill it into wherever you want to put it. Connecting to the app and WiFi was also very simple. I have used other cameras before and I must say Arlo is the best so far when it comes to detection. It was able to tell the difference between a car, a person and even has the option to detect a package being delivered. There are a few things I did not like but they are by no means deal breakers. The first is that during the night time it had a harder time detecting and filtering out vehicles driving by. The second thing is battery life. Although I have not been able to completely test battery life I do not thing it will live up to the claims. I think I will get 1-2 months max if even that. This is not that big of a deal because it is easy to take down a charge it. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a smart camera that does not want to deal with wires. The video quality and field of view are great. This camera can be mounted just about anywhere as well with little effort.

    Impossible to use, the camera doesn't synchronize with my network, I have tried 2 cameras and I had the same issue with both. My Arlo doorbell works perfectly so I thought the camera would be the same, but unfortunately it doesn't work at all. Do not buy!

    Couldn't get to work

    I have AT&T for wifi and spent over an hour with support trying to get this camera to work. We created a separate 2.4ghz line to get it to sync and still couldn't get it to work. I returned it for a couple Ring camera's and they synced less than 5 minutes.

    Arlo refuses to give me my 3 month trial on my cameras because I set them up incorrectly the first time and tried to re-do them and had no help at all. Arlo thinks I am defrauding them to receive more than what I paid for. I will be returning my cameras and requesting a replacement set.

    Great product. I went in to exchange cameras and the item didn’t show in purchases. I was immediate assumed and accused of stealing the item. Unprofessional. The most hilarious part is I had just purchased a fridge for 2200. My family doesn’t steal. We have morals

    The worst camera in history do not purchase!!!!! Have had nothing but issues the entire month I have had it, even paid their “support team” 120$ to upgrade the software an still sucks and doesn’t work at all or record! Stay with the ring!

    After 3 months, the system will ask you pay $9.99 every month if you want to check history. Before I purchased the same products never have this issue!

    Very user friendly, good quality and so app. Just be careful with placement as constant movement will drain the battery quickly, but just unscrew and recharge not hard at all.
