I just installed three Arlo Essential Spotlight cameras and so far have been thoroughly impressed with battery life and image quality. I cannot wait to get a few more for the outside of my home. I utilize the second tier subscription which allows unlimited cameras and 30 days worth of recordings. Highly recommend!

I just set up the cameras indoors, the set up was easy. It takes a little getting used to to find all of the adjustment areas. Not crazy about the low light image. I have had better on other cameras

Had problems with the 2nd generation essential . Could not get them stabile or even loaded on Arlo app much less HomeKit . The first gen spotlight essential however are great , good picture stabile and reliable and best of all they work with HomeKit !!!

I already have the Arlo Pro 2, this is an additional camera for me, and it's great - note that you don't have to have the base to make this work! The camera comes with everything you need, mount, screws and charging cable included. I let it charge for a couple of hours and then turned it on. It synced easily with the Arlo app. I have it outside towards the front door. The spotlight is great. It turns on when it senses motion and it's dark. It has scared a couple of racoons and made it bright for a delivery driver when I forgot to leave the porch light on. I love that you have sound and can actually use the mic in the app to talk to people outside through the camera. I would recommend this camera.

A great buy. This security camera is great for indoor or outdoor use. I put mine indoor and I am happy I did. Easy set up, comes with screws and usb cord for charging. It doesn’t need to be continuously plug in. You just have to charge it. Download app to create account and gain viewing access to the camera. Video quality is good, also has a pretty decent viewing angle. Picks up a wide angle view. Two way talk. You can add users to share your camera feed with. In the app you can control turning the camera on and off. I did notice a small lag when viewing live footage, about a 3-5 second delay in updating current footage. Otherwise it works great.

We were on the market for security cameras for a very long time and decided to move forward with the arlo ones after many hours of research and we’re not disappointed at all. Helps keep and eye out on our dogs and the house when we’re away and so far no problems what so ever. We’re very satisfied with our purchase and so glad we decided to get them it even came with a cute yard sign out front

Coming from what I had previously, this is a huge step up. I had a Canary system that just wasn't cutting it. Connection issues happened everyday and it just wasn't getting it done for my security needs. Enter Arlo... Great motion detection, great range on the wifi, amazing picture quality and pretty nice spot light. Nothing but good things to say about this camera. Will definitely be picking up some more.

Absolutely love the spotlight and how well it lights up the area it is recording. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because we are struggling with the battery life. There are times the light will come on and not shut off allowing it to die in 24hrs. I believe once we have the settings down it will be perfect and hopefully a longer battery life. The video is very clear, it picks up sound great, and was very easy to add to our pro setup we already had.
