I purchased this Arlo Essential Spotlight to supplement my other cameras with my Arlo system. It has been a terrific purchase to help protect my truck which I have to park outside of my garage. It also helps give a wider view of my property which gives me a sound piece of mind.

I am super impressed with this camera. It looks very classy and modern on the walls of my business, and the video quality for both the day and night recording is awesome. We have purchased six so far and will be purchasing more in the future.

The camera itself wasn’t bad. It has good picture quality and the spotlight on the Arlo essential is a nice feature. However, I have to give it 1 star because the battery life is incredibly awful! We have had the cameras since Nov 12, 2020 and had to charge them after two weeks of use. (They were installed with 100% battery life.) This brings me to tonight December 2, 2020 the cameras are already dead! No one has time to constantly charge the cameras, it is not efficient by any means especially when you have to get an extension ladder out every time it’s time to charge them. I realize there are settings to preserve battery life but in my opinion it does not help! Unfortunately the cameras are being picked up and returned to the store. Good camera IF you don’t mind charging the battery every two weeks!

Camera works great to keep eye on kids while they are working from home for school. Extra layer of assurance and safety. And it lets us know if they are doing what are are suppose to

It's the perfect size and the picture is crystal clear. It alerts in the proper zones so I know when someone is arriving and I have peace of mind when I'm not there that I will get notified of any activity around my home. So happy with it!

We love our arlos and have free 7 day recordings, so we got these for my in-laws but after setting these up, we found out these need the $15 per month subscription to even watch any recordings.. no mention of it on the box...

What an amazing camera that Arlo has made. The camera is able to capture a lot of angles with the added bonus of being able to talk through it. It’s very easy to install and set up. The battery last a pretty long time and the picture quality is great.

Great quality doesn’t feel cheap, the 2k resolution isn’t really all that great

I purchased this to monitor a cat trap just outside my house. I wanted wireless (I have 18 POE wired cameras) and the flexibility to set this exactly where I wanted, temporarily. Getting it setup on my iPhone went okay and I was able to get the "live" stream to my phone. I then pointed it toward one of our cats and it took 5-8 seconds for it to update. This is WAY to much lag as I need fewer than 2 seconds. Also, I don't see a way to access this camera directly with a web browser. I couldn't locate the IP address on my DHCP table on my router and don't see a way to obtain this within the app - maybe I'm missing something. I needed a camera for tonight so I found an AMCREST POE camera on Facebook Marketplace and ran a temp cable under my window. I plan to return the Arlo camera

Just installed the cameras last week. Love the easy access on the phone app. The settings for notifications and alerts to friends and even emergency contacts is awesome! Took a while to find what I wanted, but Arlo cameras are the real deal!

Battery life it’s not long. The older version when they had a separate battery was a little bit better this new wireless one you have to take it down and put it back up after charging so it’s a little bit more inconvenient. I Purchased them this past weekend put them up and two of the cameras are really showing less than 10% battery life

Good camera. App needs some improvements. Easy install. Like there isn’t need for cords.

This is the 2nd one. 1st one lasted 2yrs. The replacement has given me nothing but trouble. Video works good no audio.

This camera went beyond my expectations. It was simple to install, and relays clear high-quality images to my phone. I haven't had it long but it appears the battery life will be long-lasting. I will be purchasing another one to install in my back yard.

I would not recommend these cameras. I bought this set and 6 months later one fails. It won't hold a charge. From what I gather this is a common occurrence. Arlo cameras have a limited 1 year warranty but the company makes it impossible to contact customer service. They have an automated chat service that takes you in circles. I have tried for days to get ahold of a LIVE person without success. I definitely would not recommend Arlo to anyone!

Features are perfect and set up was easy to understand. The app is extremely easy to navigate and setting up modes is a breeze. I called customer service, connecting was quick and agent was patient and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend ARLO.

We have had Arlo cameras for several years now and have always loved them and talked about adding one or two more. After something was taken from our property we purchased this camera and loved it so much we went back the same day and purchased another.

Good camera. Only flaw is that the app takes a while to load the live viewing.
