Used this with my Basestation and it works well at night with spotlight and captures in color. This has capture motion of small rat to foxes on our deck. Ability to setup specific alerts for animal, package and human is also a great feature.

So far so good. Easy to set up in less than 5 minutes. Installed in my garage to monitor activity. Very good coverage and clarity. So far the cameras charge is at 57% after two weeks. Recharging the battery would be my only con.

These are nicer than the Arlo Pro 2. Very good quality and nice picture. Nice to have a built-in rechargeable battery unlike the older ones. It has a good field of vision. The spotlight, siren and having sound with the video is great.

I followed the instructions on the App and it loaded fine. Just having a little trouble getting the settings correct but that is probably my fault it's taking a while.

This spotlight camara is great for my home security.

This individual camera was defective however the Geek squad coverage ensured that I got my money back in order to replace it. Very satisfied with the service.

The dirt is in the details. Cameras are good. Getting them set up by Geek Squad was great. After that it is hard to get any user friendly info on operation etc. If you read the box one would think it was plug and play. NOT! I might need to print the 72 page owners manual if I can find it on my computer. I would recommend this product but with caveats.

Love that there are no wires, easy to install, all the features are great! Especially the audio, if I'm out back I can speak to and hear anyone at the door. I can sleep better at night knowing I have a great security camera

I have had 3 Arlo Essentials for a while now. The battery seems to be holding quite the charge, video quality is okay. It does struggle a bit at nighttime in terms of video quality, though it could just be problems with placement. All around a good camera, though I feel like the Pro 4 may pick up where this one lags.

I bought one for inside of my apartment. Set up was simple. I liked it so much I got another one for outside. I didn't set it up outside though. I put it in my kitchen window. I can see my door and car. Nice wide angle.

Love my camera and the coverage that I get over my house. Its covers everything from the front of the house to the back. I really like the essential camera that lets you set the boundaries of where it records the video.

Great quality camera. I have these cameras in my adult day care. The quality is crystal clear. I only had to changed the battery one time for over 14 months of monitoring.

It’s got great picture quality. Allows me to keep an eye on my puppy and allows us to watch for intruders. I love how it give you updates when it’s armed and it also records the movement.

The cameras provide clear picture and sound. I would only change one feature and that would be creating a button that could easily be pushed to “arm” select cameras with the siren instead of having to go and change the mode on each individual camera at night before bed and then again in the morning before anyone walks outside.

My boss bought these cameras for our branch. For 2 months they worked fine. After that, the batteries kept dying very fast. when I tried to call them a recording said they were not open, even though their business hours are 6 a.m to 6 p.m. pacific time. I tried to get support through email. 3 days later I got a response asking for more information. When I spent 20 minutes gathering the information and putting it in, the website said the page was unavailable. When I tried to up load a document to their website it didn't work. i signed up to get their service after my 3 month trial, and they took money out of my account and did not send a receipt or an invoice telling me why they took out an add amount twice. There is no one to help you when you get a problem. Buy a camera from some real people, who will be there for you when you need them.

this camera has very good video quality during the day and night. catches literally everything animals people vehicles and any motion. very happy with my purchase.

You have to take it down to charge it. However, it lasts a long time without charging. It alerts for everything but you can change the settings. It also also additional safety features for a price while away from home.

Great camera. Easy setup, plug and play 1080 resolution makes for a clear video. Senses objects and tells you if the object is an animal, person, vehicle or motion

iI'm confused,,,, does ARLO now REQUIRE a subscription or is it "Optional"?? The specs does not make it clear. My current cameras are at EOL but free video storage. Hopefully someone can give me a straight answer. Not Happy With Arlo Support!!

Great video quality and view. No wires so you can mount anywhere. Motion detectors very good. Good value for the quality of the cameras. Monitoring my home and dogs gives me peace of mind.
