I hate my new Arol. The Essential Spotlight Camera is difficult to get set upl It is very sensitive. I have turned off animals, vehicles and all other motion and it still picks up cars on the street even when it is only partial and a dog in my neighbors yard. Can't delete large amount on Library.

my wife and I moved to a new state and had an issue with a random stranger on the very first evening. the next day I bought this camera and it does exactly as advertised and exactly what I need. We feel much safer now knowing that our arlo essential camera is keeping tabs on the place.

These Arlo Spotlight Cameras are awesome. Very easy to set up. They provide a very clear and detailed picture, along with sound. I only wish that they were available in a matte black.

It took a little while to get the base station, but when it arrived it was easy to get the cameras working. The Arlo support staff was very helpful.

I purchased the 4 pack Arlo Essentials cameras to replace and old home security system because I didn’t like the quality or the lag from the other brand. I must say these cameras are well worth the money spent. I hooked these up directly in the same spot as the other cameras I had and the Arlo has a wider view of the room and the picture quality is immaculate. It does have a few second lag but not noticeable compared to the system I replaced. I will be purchasing the doorbell camera next and swapping out my current doorbell camera.

I purchased the Arlo essential spotlight camera with the solar panel and though it only came with one panel, I placed one of the porch and another camera inside the home. I feel so much more secure with the advantages of live footage and the notifications that inform me of any movements when I’m away from home. I’m able to sleep and leave our home with peace of mind and security. The video surveillance is so clear and the quality never leaves me questioning who is approaching our home. I love the fact that you can control the sensitivity of movement and chance the notifications of what the cameras pick up on.

I have always had the Pro 2 but since not making anymore I got this. I works good, just wish it had a battery that could be removed and charged like the pro 2 instead of a cord not as mobile if i want to keep it charged and go on a trip

We got 2 new cameras to add to our Arlo Pro 2 and we love these. Beautiful color, sound and my kids feel even more protected. Arlo makes it so easy for us technically challenged!

Easy installation and setup. I recommend setting it up with the base station so you can control all the cameras easily. There is no way to change the activity zones so be careful when you set them otherwise, you will need to remove the device and start the pairing process all over.

Worst item I ever wasted my money on. They worked fine for less than a month. Now they are worthless. Always off line, can't connect and batteries won't charge. Have 2 plugged into an outlet and they are off line also.

I like them. Ive added more over time. I have seven. They work great. I have had zero issues. Had five for three years. Just added the last two. I think I'm covered.

The camera was super easy to add to my system and works really well! The picture is very clear and I like the ability to adjust the range and motions it picks up.

I already had an existing Arlo system but wanted a camera for outside that lasted a bit longer between charges as well as motion sensing and this bad boy even offered a LIGHT. I was sold at 6mo between charges. What an amazing value and quality camera!

The Spotlight Camera works great at day and night. It's easy to set up and accurately identifies animals and people.

I bought additional ones of these to go with one I already had. I have replaced all of my old cameras with the Essential cameras since they have lights in them.

We bought the essential right before we went out of town. We got it so we could keep an eye on our house and the friend we are letting stay with us. It is a really good thing we did. We specifically asked her to not have anyone over, which she did, and we have it on camera. It also was good for our fur babies. She did not come home to let the dogs out, so we had to call other friends to come let the dogs out, as well as feed them. This was a perfect purchase for us. Made our decision easy to ask our friend to leave, as well as made sure our poor dogs were taken care of.

Got a 4 pack of the Essentials Spotlight Cameras the App and set up are easy to handle. The link them to the App Prior to setting up outside or to the location. Very sensitive and responsive. Living in the woods with a new puppy can be scary to think about getting skunked or if something else is out there Arlo gives us the peace of mind and let’s me scare off the wild ones with the Spotlight siren or us yelling at the puppy not to eat that. Also because of the simple assembly make sure it is in a secured space since anyone can just pop it off the mount without tools.

LOVE this little camera. The quality of the video is HD quality. This was super easy to install - had it up and running within 15 min out of the box.

This camera is perfect to use outside when wiring is not an option. The picture quality is great. The spotlight and alarm are great features.

Got this for my Dad's birthday. He loves seeing videos of the animal's crossing our yard, and he likes being able to talk to people outside.
