    Love the size of this flood light camera. Big shout-out to the gurus that designed how it mounts to the bracket. Battery life is just okay. And unfortunately the Arlo solar panel, the plug does not fit into this camera. So I need to figure out a way to hard wire an outdoor camera, Other than that the camera works better than I expected.

    Honestly wouldn’t recommend this product I’m currently looking at other camera options. First their customer service is absolutely awful and never help with anything. Cameras barely want to charge anymore if you are able to spend a little more go towards ring cameras or something better

    well these are the first cameras i have ever gotten and they look so nice on 1080p definition. I ordered the arlo 2k hdr camera and they will look even better and it was relatively cheap costing me around 700 dollars. also i was trying to five stars but wouldnt let me for some reason thank you arlo.

    I purchased the Arlo Essential Spotlight camera after I researched for a reliable system that give me comfort in the protection and safety of my family. This system is also adaptable. I also purchased an ARLO Smart Hub so I can use it wit my Home Kit and use Siri & my Alexa devices.

    Complete Garbage - Don't waste your money.

    Absolute waste of time and money. I ended up throwing my cameras in the trash (still under warranty) that is how bad the whole expierence has been. Their customer service is the so terrible. I don't even want to get into details on how much of a headace buying this peice of crap has been. You are better off buying any other camera brand!

    Don't waste your money!

    This camera does not record anything after your free trial. You must purchase a subscription to record. Why sell a camera that doesn't record? The money maker is the subscription for them. Don't waste your money.

    Fits the Bill

    Purchased this to help with keeping an eye on items a little out of sight. As soon as there is movement, the camera/light activate. Was worried about distance from router (about 150ft), but was like being right there.

    An absolute nightmare from start to finish. Finish being I am ripping this garbage out and having Ring installed tomorrow. Unless you are a brilliant techie, forget this product. Horrible to install and then once finally installed, stops working and gives no alert. Total waste of money.

    Perfect for us

    This was our 2nd purchase. (1st Arlo was the Spotlight w/camera and after a few days the camera would slowly start to tilt downward.) Super small and very lightweight. No wires and was able to connect to our internet with no problems.

    Works great during the day but at night not.

    If you want this camera for recording motion during the day then go for it. The quality of the recording is good and it will continue to record motion until there isn't any. I bought these cameras for use during the night and they failed me. Around 8 pm they don't record motion and they don't start until around 5 am. My cameras are all on the armed setting and I even placed them on 100% sensitivity. Let me give you an example of what happens. In the day it records when I open the door and walk out and stops when it can't see any more movement. At 8 pm I open the door walk out (with my outside light on if it even makes a difference) and later I come back in to see if it recorded it. Not a single recording of me opening the door and leaving, but in the day it did record me. It also records vehicles that drive on the street in the day but at night it doesn't record the vehicles that drive by. I am thinking about returning them and looking for cameras that will not fail me at night time.
