    We brought this cameras make sure our property is safe. The cameras doesn’t always pick up. You have to pay to keep the recordings

    Easy to install and setup. Ran into some minor issues with charging, but Arlo support was able to push a firmware update and have had no issues since. Small MRC is you want to store any video, get alerts, etc., but fairly priced.

    I've been looking for a stand alone camera for outdoor secruity. The battery life seems to be very good, although I have only been using it for a couple days. You have full control anywhere. I have already ordered a solar charger to make it maintenance free.

    BEWARE! This model REQUIRES a subscription with Arlo!! It does NOT give you 7 days of free video storage. You will only receive a notification via the app. I bought this for the better video quality for my front door to go with my two Arlo Pro 2. I wish I hadn't bought it, it does not record motion or audio unless you for the monthly or yearly subscription

    Arlo Disabled Video On These Cameras

    Currently these devices do not work - Arlo pushed a firmware update two weeks ago which disabled video on all Essential cameras, and have not released any updates or even a statement since.

    Good video quality

    Perfect for my front yard I can see everything and make sure is all alright, and the wireless part is what I like a lot too no need to be worry about the wires anymore, just the delay on the image but still works good.

    2 - 4 second live stream delay

    We got this for a live view of our front porch. The live view streaming has a 2 - 4 second delay even though we have high-end wifi and a "strong" signal to the camera. Arlo support never got back to us and Arlo support site doesn't offer a solution. We're returning the Arlo.

    The camera is exactly what we wanted. Wide range of visibility and clarity. Settings for sensitivity, people/animals, alerts are great as well. Always can view your home on an app and so far no problems.

    We used this camera to keep an eye on the cats while we were away. Worked perfectly! The microphone feature was also hilarious to use with the cats; initially scared the crap out of them. Loved it!

    Setup was easy and the alerts are quick and intelligent. In the alert it lets you know if it’s an animal, package or motion. Then you can access the live feed fast enough to still see the action.

    This is our 4th Arlo outdoor camera. We love the wide angle of this camera because it allows us to see our whole front yard. We actually have it mounted in a tree.

    I have 2 Arlo Ultra cameras and recently purchased 2 of the essential models. For the price difference they are great if you dont need the top 4k quality.

    Got these cameras as a gift and they do not work with dual frequency bandwidth. They are really behind with this stuff. Had no choice but to return as i did not want to choose to have a slower internet.

    I love it’s features and the spotlight. The battery lasts a while but I always charger whenever I can to avoid having to charger for too long when it’s close to dying.

    Camera works great. When setting up make sure to turn 5g wifi off on phone and connect to standard wifi, then reconnect after setup is complete.
