The first set of the cameras I got wouldn't hold a battery charge. They were exchanged for a set that did.

I love it, it detects any movement and alerts you, you could control it threw your phone.

Once the cameras were successfully set up, I am very satisfied. The picture and sound are clear. There is a bit of a lag, sometimes only a few seconds, but if there has been no activity for a while it can take a minute to catch up. I particularly like the spotlight feature, and the ability to speak to someone through the app. Initial set up was a little clunky, it took a couple of tries to get the app to recognize the cameras, so this took longer than expected. Overall the value is great, and you get 7 days of video without having to pay for a subscription. The cameras connect directly to WiFi so no need to purchase a hub. I would definitely recommend.

The picture quality is great. It’s easy to set up and get mounted on the house. I am disappointed with how long it takes to connect to a LIVE view on the app. If someone is knocking at my door….I click on Live View and sometimes it won’t even connect after multiple attempts. When and if it connects….the person has left. I have a strong connection for internet so I don’t know what the problem is. For this reason….I would not buy this product again. I’m considering returning it.

So far so good. Quality is great. Had to contact support to get them setup but after that all is good!!!

I like this camera as far as the quality in picture but don’t like that it doesn’t have a removable battery. I have to take the whole thing down to charge it. Also the light isn’t very strong and doesn’t stream very far. I wanted this to reach my cars in my backyard to monitor them but it only does an ok job. The battery also says 6 month life but it only lasted about 3 weeks.

Have several of these cameras along with 4 of the pro 4 models, we use the essential cams for the bedrooms, they work great for inside or outside, just a few small differences that make the pro 4s a little better for outside like 2k, h.d.,and object tracking. We felt for inside they would be great and there at least 50$ cheaper, more when on sale.

There is zero sacrifice with these cameras. Not only is the the installation easy, the quality of the camera and video resolution rivals other cameras that cost much much more. I’ve tried a few different cameras and was shocked at how good these are. So far the battery life is on par with the estimated life. After struggling with wired cameras and limited places to install I went with Arlo. I’m happy I did.

Love this Arlo camera and the clarity of the videos. Would definitely buy again.

Definition is good , easy to install but the battery is not lasting good enough.

perhaps it is the internet but the connection from my cameras to my phone is very slow and spotty.

Great camera all around. Set up was easy. Video quayis great.
