I am not very tech savvy, but these were even easy enough for me to do! I have all three of them up and the app makes it super easy to control. If I know I will be in and out at a certain door, I can turn the camera off with my phone until we are back in for the evening. The cameras were delivered quickly and I have been very pleased with them. The pics are very clear.

I realized I needed a 2K camera to fill in an uncovered area. Swapped a 2K over to that area and bought the 1080 for a small area for a smaller price.

I love my Arlo Essential Spotlight Cameras the video quality is great, along with the playback video. I had the Arlo 2 and 3 security camera, but it required a hub to connect to the cameras and didn't light on them. I love how the Essential Spotlight camera has a light on it and can connect straight to your wifi. You can speak through the two-way mic, and the battery life is longer.

Perfect for our needs. Easy setup and easy to use away from home.

Quickly becoming the Gold Standard in Cloud Based home monitoring. Easy to set up, user friendly app and A/V quality that flex’s on the competition. The battery life is outstanding. I’ve had the system for about a month and the cameras are STILL running on the juice they came with and are roughly about 15% life as of this posting. Arlo has established itself as dependable and reliable in my book and I will be a customer for life. 10/10

Love the camera. I definitely recommend this camera. Its easy to install. And charge.

Unfortunately after five months of use I cannot recommend these cameras. On their own they do not stay charged for longer than a month. Even my camera that hardly has any activity does not hold a charge longer than a month and a half at most. I purchased the recommended solar panels, which helped keeping them charged, but does nothing to keep them connected. If you have even the slightest blip in your Internet service, the cameras will disconnect and to be reconnected they have to be taken down so you can press the sync button on the camera, and get them to read the QR code displayed on your cell phone and reconnect them to your Internet. That’s a little bit too much ladder climbing and interaction for my needs. Sadly I bought six of these things. And if you have the cameras up around your roofline forget being able to get a clear picture of anything on the ground at night. At least not with much detail. Maybe the more expensive Higher resolution Arlo cameras are better but I am very disappointed with these.
