It is very flexible, you can choose what you will allow to trigger the motion activation. The spotlight is very bright. It's very easy to use with the phone app and on your computer.

Just fyi there is a companion app with the cameras but it’s $10 a month.

This one I put on the back of my house in addition to the other 2 I have up. One draw back is that this one due to the placement alerts us on motion detected a lot. I have adjusted the sensitivity to almost the lowest setting and we still get alerts. It is very windy and there are lots of things moving in the background, so I get it, just a little annoying. This also causes the battery to drain faster than the other cameras I have up.

Well this isn’t true. Arlo grants you 30 days free, but afterwards, in order to enjoy the advertised features, you must pay a monthly subscription.

The picture quality is a lot better than Blink, especially the night vision. However, camera does go offline from time to time without any resaon. It has to be power cycled to get it online again. I'd not recommend it for that reason.
