The camera quality is good. Setup in less than 10 minutes. Wifi makes location a breeze. Will get color night vision when the spotlight is on. Added the solar charger and have not had to worry about recharging battery stays at 100%

The Arlo Essential Spotlight Camera is a great buy for someone who doesn't need a "panel" installation in their home. I like that the system keeps me informed with "pushes" when someone or something comes into the camera's view. All is easily viewed on my cell phone with the Arlo phone app. Only downside is the battery needs to be recharged, so there is significant down time of about 3 hours.

These cameras are awesome. An easy setup with the app, easy install and upgradeable with solar panels so you never have to charge them. Cameras have great video quality and easy live views of oll cameras in the app.

Good cameras clear video and sound. Battery life is poor even if you deminish video quality. Also battery is internal only with slow recharging which takes to long. I have 3 different Arlo sets and Arlo wired and wireless doorbells this is the least impressive of all. Go with Pro 4 or 3 if you can.

We were looking at expanding our already existing Arlo Pro 2 cameras and came across the Arlo Essentials. We decided to see if they would connect with our existing Arlo Pro 2 base and they do. The quality of picture and the spotlight are exactly what we were looking for.

Great camera. Images are very clear and sensitivity is wonderful ! I am not a big fan of the fact that you have to tighten the camera in with a screw each time you need to charge the battery and re-mount it. The mounting on the original Arlo cameras was superior in my opinion.

I love these cameras. The installation was a breeze. I did reach out to Arlo and the guy was so patient and friendly. He stayed on the phone with me the entire time I was connecting my cameras. The camera show a very good picture. There is a little lag time but its not too bad.

The quality is great, but we have to take them down to charge once a week and you have to pay 20 a month to view the recordings. Misleading product for sure, on all reviews we read off of their site

This product is easy to use however, needs to be charged frequently and that alone is to inconvenient-having to get up on the ladder and taking it down to charge.

Great cameras and seemed like they would work really well if I had better wifi. But they wouldn’t have a good signal and took a long time to connect to my phone or send me movement notifications. The batteries also died on me very quickly because it kept trying to connect.

I bought these cameras because I was told it had great audio and it does. You can hear almost everything and the video quality is great. Easy to install and you have free recording access for a few months and after that its a monthly payment, but it isn't that much.
