Once connected these cameras provide adequate service. However, they are difficult to set up correctly.

Overall happy with purchase, had some issues during the set up process. The battery life says up to 6 months but definitely having to charge every couple weeks.

Great picture quality, easy to use app, and was easier to set up (and get connected to Wi-Fi) than the indoor essential cameras.

I purchased these cameras on sale for $260, and it is the best deal ive seen for the quality of cameras these are. They are easy to set up, and are very clear quality.

These were easy to install and the picture on them is flawless. My only issue would be is the battery life. They're supposed to last 5-6 months on one charge but mine lasted 1 month then needed to be charged again. It's easy to take down and charge them but wish we wouldn't have to so often. They're lightweight very sensitive to sound, which is a plus. I also like you can talk to people that come to the door through them. I left mine on 24/7 and that could also be why my battery life was bad. We have a lot of animal activity. So going forward I'll see how long a full charge lasts when I disarm them while home more. These were worth the money to me regardless.

I purchased the Arlo essential to place outside and add to my existing Arlo Pro 3 camera system. Easy to add and the Essential is perfect as it has a spotlight and the quality is excellent. No issues. The price was very good as well.

So I am mostly pleased with the Arlo system. It was easy to setup and install. Have a little trouble in getting it adjusted to avoid being overly sensitive to motion off in the distance. Battery life before needing recharging has not a long as initially expected. Quality of video has been very good.

Works good, good view, easy to manage & cheap…. I’m using it at my office to keep everyone away from important documents and personal stuffs. Thanks Arlo!

The cameras work well. The picture is clear. The app has nice features. My own complaint is I wish I could turn the motion light off on one of the cameras. It would be nice to have the option. It drains the battery of my one camera that catches a lot of vehicles driving by.

The camera works really well it picks up animals in my yard and even birds and wasp. But most of all it gives me the feeling of being safe and being able to know what is going on outside. Also, when someone comes on your property that isn't supposed to be on it even picks them up.

Easy to set up. Easy to view on Ap. Battery life is very good. Motion sensor sensitivity is very good. Great value for much cheaper than other video doorbell/camera systems. Cheap to maintain.

I have 5 of these set up all around my house. Decent camera for the price. I did have a ton of trouble getting one set up and had to jump through a bunch of hoops with Arlo support to a get new one sent to me (have to pay for shipping with Arlo). After I completed all of Arlo's online posted troubleshooting steps, I had to repeat them with chat reps. My main argument to them was that if it was truly a network problem on my end, then other Arlo cameras wouldn't be working, nor would the 50 other devices I have set up. Had I known I'd have that much trouble I would have just gotten the Geek Squad protection plan - lesson learned. You have a 90 day trial period with Arlo and after that it's a monthly subscription. I'm giving it 4 stars because of the unnecessary frustrations.

I had high hopes for this system upon purchasing. However, the battery life is terrible. On a single charge the battery drains within a week. And that is WITH a schedule and on the battery improvement setting to use less drain. I would not recommend this if you want to set it up and not have to worry about battery life for months. That was my initial expectation, but it seems it needs to be charged frequently, which defeats the purpose. OTHERWISE - setup was great, easy, and the picture quality is great; the spotlight feature is awesome with the light, and detection of animals vs. humans is spot on. All in all this a GREAT camera minus the battery drain issue.

Picture and audio are very clear. However, the picture becomes blurry as you zoom in. Battery drains quickly if set for too many notifications. Bought three pack. Only put up two cameras. Use the third as a spare to quickly change out one of the cameras with a low battery. Love the app!

I added this as an extra camera to my arlo. I am extremely satisfied with the arlo cameras and soo easy to install. I would recommend the arlo system to everyone wanting a surveillance camera for their residence or business!!

Good security camera longer battery life, Since I bought never charge yet. Which are good. Also very clean viewing on the every device.

Absolutely love these! I only charge them Once a month! Clear picture can zoom in. 2 way speaker can communicate through the app.

These are pretty good cameras ! I love the quality of them and how easy they are to set up. I wish battery life was longer but that is what you get with wireless cameras.

This product was so easy to understand, assemble and install that my 5 year old could follow the insstructions, ok my 8 year old!
