It doesn't have to work with a base station. The color night vision is great and clearer pictures. I have Arlo Pro 2 camera's, so the only minus is you have to get the security plan for the Arlo Essential.

It let's me sleep more peaceful every night and no matter where I go I can keep an eye out at my property and know what's happening around it.. I want to thanks Best Buy for giving me the information necessary to make a in what type of camera and brand to get for my property.

We can not get a true review that way and I can not name all the problems with 50 characters.

Stop worikng in less than 1 year

It worked great for 10.5 months. Recently, it disappeared from my Arlo system and will not reconnect. Also, the camera will not go into pairing or syncing mode.

Clear picture, only downfall is non magnetic. Purchased a solar charger compatible so I never have to take it down. Already have subscription with the doorbell camera. Get the warranty as I had a pro camera slightly after 1 year non functional.

I purchased Arlo from Best Buy, Upload was so easy, the battery life last well over 2 weeks and the view and images are perfect. LOVE THIS ITEM! Thank you Best Buy!
