    I am giving this camera a one star. I already owned a different camera and this one was an add on to the system that I already owned. I was never informed that this camera unlike my legacy cameras requires a subscription. I have been using this camera for 3 months without incident. All of a sudden it quit storing my video in the cloud as it did for the first 3 months. Now Arlo is telling me that I need a subscription. Do not buy this camera. I would not have purchased it if I had known about this. I have other legacy Arlo products and they do not require a subscription. They record and store video for 7 days free. In order to get this system to work as expected I either need a subscription, or a new base station that will allow me to store the video locally and access the video through the app. I will be adding security cameras to my home security system and paying a monitoring fee to them instead of Arlo. Very unhappy!!!!!

    Works good, with good/average wifi or you can purchase a wifi extender to help with connection issues with arlo cameras.

    Purchased this item as an add on to our current system. These cameras are very good for indoor and outside use. The only time they fail is when the temperature drops into the well below zero for an extended time and even then they begin working again as the sun comes out and warms them up a bit.
