Seems to be a much better camera than the ring camera I tried prior. It worked and connected very easily to my netgear 1900 modem.

The image quality is great. One camera went offline after a day saying wifi signal was too weak but had been working without issue. It is also advertised with a 6 month battery life. I only turn them on at night while sleeping and they died after 2 nights even with the natterybin optimized mode. keeping them on while away on a trip would be pointless. I like that they are completely wireless. However i would have sacrifed a lower quality for one that actually sustained battery life.

The Arlo cameras are super easy to install and to set up in the app. The spotlight may look tiny on the camera but it’s actually very bright and scared away a guy who was trying to break into my friends car. Once he realized we had a camera he went running away and we had a video clip we could show the police when they arrived! Definitely recommend. Only complaint is that you kind of have to add and name them all in your Arlo app then have to do it again in the Google Home app.

Easy to use. No continuous recording so have to pay a subscription to recorded movement but it’s kinda iffy what it’ll pick up

Its good with the exception of having to take camera down to recharge battery. My location for the camera does not have a power source This style arlo has no removable battery.

You have two options with this Arlo device. You can connect this model to your wifi, or, you can connect it to your Arlo Hub. I elected the Arlo Hub. I gave one to my son-in-law for a birthday present. Positive note- in color.....not black and white during the nighttime alerts. The Arlo cameras that I have always have a delay in recording. But, the Arlo doorbell, mine is hardwired, will show a few seconds of video before the person, animal or vehicle come into the scene on playback. This should be a 4.5 STAR. I bought mine on Sale..!!

I have had Arlo for quite sometime now and i felt i had to write a review. Cons: 1.Even though I have fiber there is always a delay on alerts or when you are trying to quickly access the camera to see alert. 2. You really cant see much detail after 10, 15FT 3. Video quality is marginal at best.. 4. Fogged image at night even though their is no fog. 5. Pixelization when trying to view video at night. 6. Not much options to control what not to record. If you point it at a street, even though you say ignore cars, you will get a million alerts or stored video.. Its annoying. 7. You really cant see much detail on faces or plates. 8. Battery's s**k you will be charging this every 1 or 2 months at low power consumption. Pros. 1. Easy to install 2. Not that expensive (you get what you paid for so not a pro system, would not get this if your serious about security and having clean clear images if needed). If you want a good quality reliable security i would just get a traditional DVR high quality security system. Yes it will be more expensive to have someone install it, but again you get what you paid for. I am not satisfied and will be returning this new set i got; i figured it would be better and its not..
