These cameras do have pretty good picture/video recording, but they have a good bit of flaws. Battery percentage is very strange. Doesn’t give you accurate percentage at all, and will sometimes die very quickly or not. Sometimes the video glitches and turns different colors like purple most often. Also smart notifications has some bugs. Very annoying on a busy street with cars passing. You can turn vehicle notifications off but still glitches and blows your phone up with notifications. Lastly the Best Buy sales rep for that section told me it was free to use. It is not. You have a 3 month trial till you have to pay atleast 3.99 for 1 camera or 9.99 for 3 which is still not horrible but annoying when told the system was subscription free. Although you can choose not to pay for the subscription but you’ll only have an eye out side. Meaning no features. No video recording, no video storage or anything useful. So unless you’re home all the time it’s not really worth the money.

I gave it two stars because the technical team is good. But the product, nothing but issues. Especially the app. Don't buy these thinking you will get a base station to avoid monthly subscription fees. This system is very buggy. Just when you think you get all the bugs out new ones appear or old ones come back. They have been working on solving one issue for over a month with no success. And even if you have the subscription the functions you pay for don't work consistently. And they give you three months subscription for free! Problem with this is when you find out what you get without it, it is too late to return it. They have the Arlo community where you can waste more of your time trying to figure out issues with little result without their tech support. My advice, look elsewhere. I am an electrical engineer. Too bad, when working this picture quality is great. Works 90% of the time, but for the price and it being security IMO that is not enough.

If you are looking for a security system for your home look no further. The Arlo is very simple to install and to synchronize with a cell phone. The store employee was very helpful when deciding which one to buy. I bought the 2K and the video quality is amazing and very clear.

Easy to install and match with my WiFi. Where I have it, it turns on a lot so I am glad I also purchased the solar charger. Mt experience with Arlo has been fantastic. It is a good security outfit. I purchased other cameras and lights before so I know how reliable they are.

I would say so far so good. I enjoy the quality of such a small camera. I can actually hear any background noise clearly. The picture quality is also on point. Money well spent. Winter hasn't kicked in yet. Waiting to see how it performs as far as visibility during harsh weather.

Awesome camera!! I have 3 Arlo camero and I love how easy it is to setup. It took less that 5 minutes.

Great Price!!! Best camera on the market. The Best Buy employee was very knowledgeable and helped with the choice. Others brands where recommended but for my application these are the perfect fit. I ended up buy several more along with the doorbell.

Cameras work, some issues to deal with but it's expected nothings perfect in this world.

the cameras give lots of problems on & off but I have so many cams for years, that I feel stuck with them, what bothers me is offering promos for reviews. We can not get a true review that way and I can not name all the problems with 50 characters.

I purchased this camera to add to my system. It worked great for 10.5 months. Recently, it disappeared from my Arlo system and will not reconnect. Also, the camera will not go into pairing or syncing mode.

The Arlo serves the purpose we needed it for. Wished the battery life was a little longer

I had low expectations for this camera seeing as how they only have 1080p res but the difference isn’t too much to notice by the naked eye. I love the performance on this camera and quality is great in both day and night.

Our Arlo cameras allow for peace of mind both at home and away. We can disable cameras at any time, set certain cameras at certain times and basically choose when and where cameras are activated. Motion is kept in the library and live views are available at any time.

Easy set up, happy with function. Did not get the recording hardware, but probably will.

Very easy to install and set up. Picture is great and the app is very easy to use and not complicated. Super simple to add on additional cameras later. The integration is seamless. These are the best value out there. I would definitely recommend them to everyone.

Excellent set of security cameras. Easy to manage and adjust through the Arlo app on my phone. I recommend getting the solar chargers as well to keep the power supply without having to take them down to charge every 90 days or so depending on activity

Love these cameras! This one is having a hard time staying charged but otherwise good.

The cameras all work very well except the battery life has been less than advertised.
