works great. Heavier than the other cameras due to the spotlight.

My husband and I have no clue about electronics so when I say a 3year old can manage this and put it to use I'm not kidding it's so well worth the money I love it nobody passes my house without us knowing clear pik I love it

Absolutely love the Arlo brand. That being said, still having trouble connecting these cameras. These were bought for my parents lake property and while I am sure they work great, they can only be connected to a 2.4 wifi connection. Well there is no way to choose between the 2.4 and 5 on the router. Still trying to deal with xfinity on how to correct this.

Needed another camera , and the store was out of that item that I wanted , they made sure I'd get one and shipped it to my front door two days later. This Arlo set up is amazing, easy set up and crystal clear photos/ video's

I enjoy using the Arlo Essential Spotlight Camera. It does everything it's supposed to. There's only one downside to it. It can only operate on a 2.4 ghz Wi-Fi network, so if you don't have this, or don't know how to switch your router accordingly, you will run into problems with the camera.

This camera works great in the dark with the built in led light

I'm not impressed with these cameras when you zoom them up you can not get a clear picture of anything past 25 feet it starts getting very distorted and can't make out who the person is . they work well up close 25 feet or less. I would not buy these cameras again .

This is the best Arlo Security Camera available. Sure the neeer models offer better clarity but if you read the specs the weather temperature is lower with the essential than the pro 4. Now im not saying thats any which one is actually better. The point im getting across is that the specs here and the onrs on the Arlo website are different so how can you tell what’s actually better. So i chose the essential and its performance is great and for the cost its a no brainer. Make sure to buy them one by onr because you pay a little extra buying a three pack. Just do the math.

This product has a hidden fee. You need to pay $200/ two year subscription for software updates. This is in top of the subscription for the app and home Protection fees. I didn't like this hidden fee, so u returned it

These cameras perform well, easy to install..good value.

This is the second camera I buy for my sons apartment. The reason I bought a second camera was because of the price. Great value and great product.

Bought these cameras to monitor my elderly grandparents and ensure their safety. The picture is so clear and the clip lengths go until motion has stopped. By far the best camera investment we have made. So happy!

did a little research before i decided to get this additional camera. after pondering on this decision. i ended buying. WOW. very impressive and worth the price. well done Arlo. highly recommend

Great product, loving the spotlight that turns on via motion. I like the 2-way radio and the easiness of installation. Would love to have a home monitor for Arlo when I’m at home and want to check the cameras.

I have seen the quality of the videos in different lighting situations and in every single one the image is sharp, the sensitivity for the motion is great too, nothing moves through the area without being recorded.

We have the Arlo Pro 2 system and wanted one more camera to add to the system. This camera is the ideal one to add because of the Spotlight. Easy to hook up outside, easy to add to the current Arlo system.

The audio is not loud and the battery dies in two days. So if you like once a week or twice climbing roof or fence to charge it the it’s good the siren loud on phone but in real life you question where it comes from. I took back the Swann last week will return this as well.

Pretty decent but I don’t think the batteries last long at all. They state 3-6 months in between charges and I have to charge about every WEEK. And there is a big delay in what’s happening and when I get a notice. A person could be inside my house before I would get a warning.

Bought two of them. Less than a year later, one after the other stopped working. The electronics or the battery did not withstand the outdoor .
