The camera is well made and of good quality. The installation process is pretty straight forward. Unfortunately, the camera would not sync with my Deco mesh router. I had to return the device for a refund. Information about the device pre-purchase suggests that it sometimes has difficulty with some types of routers including mesh. Can't comment of the quality since I never got to use it.

This system is user friendly for some one who is some what tech savy Pictures are good. The essential cameras are great because no base is necessary

Replaced my old Arlo Legacy cameras with these and they work much better. The clarity is greatly improved and they offer more features.

Item failed less than 6 months after it was purchased and not returnable because it is past the 15 day window, and was bought from BestBuy and not directly from Arlo. Not a very reliable product. Very disappointed!!

Real good product 10/10 would recommend. Video comes out real clear an was super helpful since I was out of state an got all alerts of any movement.

Works very well I needed an additional fill in camera, this did the job. Set up was simple took about 5 minutes.

Love it ..the spotlight is cool and useful for the dark field behind my house..definitely going to purchase more to add to my system this is my 3rd one

works well for at home but not for more remote area maybe just needed more smarts to connect only connects to one phone

If you have a weak wifi the batteries die faster. and then you always have to get them down to charge more often. and then they would not charge anymore, not shure why. I did like them .

Absolutely amazing! I purchased 6 more camera’s to go along with the four camera’s that I currently have and am very pleased with my purchase.

It is fun seeing animals and people tripping camera. My husband and I not to happy with the fact installers only put 1 out of 3 screws in brick to hold them he is afraid one my fall off soon and we compained to geek squad 2 days ago still no response!!

Great quality, nice to be alerted when it detects something. Able to adjust settings to what you prefer

Battery doesn't work , camara say when is full charge , you.need to recharge ofter six moths and is not true every two weeks needs to be recharge , im not happy with this product

Except for a minor glitch yesterday, our Arlo Essential security camera is working quietly and efficiently.

We bought these to replace our old cameras which were wired. We were told the batteries last long 3-4 months but we found if all the alerts are on the batteries only last a couple of weeks not so good

I installed it a few days ago and it's worked perfectly since then. It's not that difficult to install or set up. Works just as I wanted it to.

It’s Very Useful When I Leave The House & I Can See Who Comes And When I Get Packages I Can Speak To Them And Tell Them To Move It Somewhere Else

Do not buy this, this camera will stop recording in the app til you turn off and back on this happen almost everyday and battery do not last 6 months but about 5-10 days

just like the other Arlos I've purchased, the battery on this died veryt quickly. After fully charging this, I mounted it and the battery was dead after 6 days.
