If you intend using it for outdoors and need to cover large areas go for a 2k or 4K so you will be able to zoom in without loosing image quality. Unfortunately there’s no support to HomeKit unless you purchase a Arlo hub or smart base separately. Be aware of the 5 to 10 seconds lag from the notification to really get to see the image in your screen.

Posted .HI Mariocapetillo, The Essential spotlight camera battery lasts up to 6 months with Average use. Average use assumes that you are using Optimized or Best Battery Life video settings and that your cameras record for approximately five minutes per day. Too many triggers such as heavy traffic may cause the battery to drain much more rapidly. You can try adjusting your cameras positioning to lowering the sensitivity to a desired level to help with unwanted motion detection. Regards, Arlo Team
