The camera is a great addition for the not so important spot you wanted coverage for anyway. Downside is having to charge the device entirely versus removing the battery.

One camera only lasts 4 days after charging it. We have not used 2 of them. Wondering what needs to be done with the one camera.

Good cameras. Easy setup! I have a floodlight as well. If you have a lot of flow in the cameras the battery drain quickly. You need to pay for Subscription after 3 months are up. Unless you have a base station which is an extra $100.

Really good clarity and easy to work the system. Only problem is battery life. Needs to be a bit longer. Had them a month and battery went down to 38%. Left them on most of the time just as a test for long trips of bring away.

very good idea without hub, but the battery is not enough. I am using it in my parking lot, the use is average and the battery only lasts 3 days It also disconnects from the Wi-Fi very often that is a major problem, it is very annoying.

Easy to install. Good image quality. Easy to use app. Ability to set notifications based on the camera trigger (motion, animal, person, etc) is a bonus; otherwise, I would get 300 notifications a day due to wind.

The cameras are good- nice picture, good zoom ability, nice strong light. However the app is a freaking mess! Half of the time it doesn't work and half the time it does work you have to close it and log in 2-3 times. I pay for the Arlo storage but cannot access it about 60% of the time. What is the point of having it if I can't see events!?!?!? I will keep them since we have had them and the Arlo doorbell for a while. If I had to do it again I would definitely go with someone else though.

50% rubbish. 2 of the 4 cameras are already non functional. I am trying to get an RMA from Arlo to have them replaced. Shame on Arlo for charging real money for this…stuff. I got so frustrated with the essential cams failing that I replaced them with a couple of Kasa cams. I am currently running 2x Arlo Pro 3, the surviving 2x Arlo essential and 2x Kasa (one outdoor and one indoor PTZ) Kasa is far less expensive per camera and I find them a snap to set up, we’ll see if TP-Link can outdo Netgear.

Bought two of them and they work as well as you’d expect from a wireless camera. Clear picture. Battery tends to die fairly quickly. But you can buy the solar panels to fix that.
