Very simple to put together, install and set-up. There’s a little bit of a lag but only a couple seconds. Very good camera and spotlight. I have the video doorbell and 3 exterior cameras now.

Super easy set up, picture is excellent. Settingvup a schedule is difficult. Stuck out once. Waiting to try again when i have a free momemt.

Picture quality is much better than the cameras I had plus what I also liked is the motion detection can go as far as 100 ft

Broke within 3 months tried all tech support out a grand entire system is junk

10$ PER camera PER month after the free sub wears off. You cannot even contact the company unless you have an active subscription. Without paying you lose access to anything except live view of the camera, beware I don't know what happened these used to be good. Sometimes they even stop working at all until you delete it and re-add it to your system.

Does not work,i have to return it such a pain to even get it to hooked up

Returned. Was not compliant with my Arlo system as the geek squad guy told me

I don't see much advantages for this camera compared to arlo or arlo pro....

I have multiple Arlo security systems for multiple properties. I’ve been a big fan of their products and this one is no exception. Adding it to my existing home base station was seamless, took literally less than a minute or two including a firm update. I like the new mounting bracket, easy to install and provides camera views at all angles. But as I’m writing this and thinking about it, some of my other cameras have the magnetic connector which is probably better because it makes taking them off the mounting bracket super simple for recharging. I have not had to recharge this one yet, but it will require unscrewing it from the bracket/connector to take it off. The firm update added an e911 option that I previously did not have. By clicking a button it allows you to dial 911 which truly adds an extra layer of security and peace of mind in the event of an emergency. Another added feature is Package Detection; you receive notifications when Amazon, etc., delivers something to your home, pretty cool! Another cool feature is Smart Notifications which can be customized for People, Vehicles, Animals, and All Other Motion. I just implemented this feature so don't have anything to report yet, but having the option seems beneficial. The Spotlight works well, its not super bright but certainly sufficient for my purposes. When it turns, on the Night vision (essentially black and white video) turns to color which enhances the video tremendously. The camera is 1080p and has a 130-degree field of view so videos are excellent. After using the camera the past few days I am very impressed. I’m still fine tuning certain aspects like on/off schedule, etc., but so far its a great addition to my existing system.

I’ve used Arlo cameras for quite some time. I’ve had issues in the past with them mainly due to the battery life. Be aware that they are weather resistant and not completely invulnerable. I had one camera that was completely destroyed due to serious amount of water in it so be careful where you place them and if you can avoid direct contact with weather it will help prolong the life. The detection sensitivity is great to an extent and I have noticed that from time to time it won’t pick up movements or record and I have had the same issue with the baby monitor as well. I just recently purchased this model and still testing it out and appears to be working great. For someone that wants a general basic wireless security system that’s easy to setup and a system that isn’t crazy expensive, this is a great option.

I'm very pleased with the motion detection on this camera. It is very sensitive. It also distinguishes between general motion, animals, and people. It is easy to set up and easy to review the recorded videos and see live videos. I highly recommend it.

First time users of Arlo cameras. The night vision is awesome at night. We get notifications even if a bug flies pass the camera. The cameras really do pick up motion good. We are going to add more cameras in the future. Overall these cameras are great quality and affordable.

Picture is good for this level of camera. Battery life is excellent, though I do use a wired power supply to avoid having to recharge. I like the option for night view vs spotlight and find both useful depending on the situation. Nice wide angle view and mounting system.my only criticism is that it will occasionally lock up and lose connection requiring a reset (which is a pain since I need to get on a ladder to reset it.)
