Had Arlo camers in the past ... just wish there wasn't such a long lag time ...

these OUTDOOR cameras worked for a while then ended up with water inside and no longer work. The extra camera's will not charge.

Camera has good picture quality and easy setup but battery life can be better.

Loved the camera but wish it had the capability to record audio like the other Arlo cameras.

Out of the box, 1 of the 3 cameras didn’t work. This was discovered after having to pay for Geek Squad to come out and help. The picture quality is great but becomes useless when it doesn’t record the areas you specifically designate as being in the “activity zones” you setup. The activity zones can only be set up in box shaped areas, which is limiting. Becomes even more useless if you live on a busy street. It picks up every car driving by, not people walking in our yard, which was the whole point of purchasing it. We emailed Arlo’s customer service for help with these problems and never heard back. Another con is you have to take down the whole camera unit to charge the battery. Once it’s charged you have to go through the trouble of repositioning the cameras and designating the activity zones again. In our opinion these cameras are not worth the hassle for the money. The entire experience has been very frustrating.

We are happy with the camera ease of installation and performance. We have had these fully charged and mounted. We have had a recent concern about battery life and ability to hold a charge. After less than one month we have had to recharge one battery (down to 18%) and another down to 60%.

Installed this on porch outside my apartment. Set the zones to avoid false alarms. The quality of the picture is awesome, day or night. The spotlight can be turned on or off from the app (night vision is the other option). Easy to install. No hassles.

When this camera worked, it worked pretty well. It just eats up the battery quickly if you use the spotlight option. This camera is a sealed camera and you cannot take the battery out. The camera died at 1 year and 3 months to the day. The camera refuses to hold a charge. The Process of working with Arlo support was lengthy and frustrating! Be prepared to go through tons of troubleshooting steps and pictures of the wires and charger that you're using. After an hour chatting with support, they simply said. . .you're 3 months out of warranty. Sorry. . . oh if you want another, we will give you 30% off! Consider other options or companies.

This item has high quality and works well and catches everything that passes it lens. The night vision is perfect. I put it at my mom's and she have turn away from TV and focus on the camera and says much she love it. Thanks you guys

These are good for standard operation. The 6 month battery charge may only be if you are not in an area with traffic that the camera picks up even if you set the zone limit. Had to charge them about once a week since putting them in place. Overall good picture and the spotlight does good in lighting up the area.

I bought these cameras for extra security. Easy to install and works absolutely great. Great picture quality and the xtra features that it has is great. I get the notifications immediately when someone approaches

Retirned because Pro 4 spotlight cams went on Labor Day sale.

Easy to add to my existing base station actually like the essential better than the Pro 2. If you don’t have them connected to a power source it’s a hassle because you need to take the camera down to charge. The battery is not removable.

Arlo is simple to use and install. Monitoring ability is clear and the settings allow flexibility depending on individual needs. Love the night vision display option as well.

Clear sound and picture. So happy with the purchase. My only complaint is that the batteries see to burn out pretty fast but that may be because there is a lot of activity to capture on my block.
