The cameras are great with the spot light. Battery life is good. The more the light gets triggered the more it uses. The light is very bright. Great for walk ways or any where there is light needed. The picture and night vision are great. Cameras charge very quickly. You will have a monthly fee to save recorded videos after the free trial period.

This is what I expected security camera for outdoor of my house, it’s super easy to install device and app connected very convenient. Motion detector is very useful for even small animals and package is coming too. The view and audio are very clear and reasonable price.

Spent a bit of time researching outside security cams and read a lot of positive reviews for Arlo products. Wasn't really looking for anything too fancy, just needed something to keep an eye on the front porch. Pros : Totally wireless (rechargeable battery, Wi-Fi, and cloud storage). Easy and intuitive setup through the Arlo app. Small and discreet (hardly noticeable mounted on the wall above front door. Includes everything needed to install including mounting hardware. Picture quality is definitely good enough and is probably limited by the resolution of the Google home devices. More than enough features for a basic security camera (night vision, push notification alerts, can tell the difference between a package delivery and a burglar and an animal etc, programmable schedules, customizable activity zones within field of view). Cons: Not as Google Home friendly as I expected (can view cam "live" from Google nest but there's a significant delay of at least 12-15 seconds even with gigspeed Wi-Fi, doesn't work at all with Lenovo home products). Delay when viewing on phone is much better but is still several seconds. Battery doesn't seem to last quite as long as claimed (I've had it up for about 3 weeks and it's at about 70%) and camera must be removed to recharge. Must subscribe to Arlo Smart subscription service to use the majority of the features (it's only $2.99/mo. but it's annoying that you have to pay to use features built into the hardware. In summary this is a very good mid range security cam and you could spend a lot more and get less. I'd be an even bigger fan if it worked just a little better with Google Home but I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Arlo cam in the future.

I absolutely love Arlo security cameras. They work perfectly. I can hear when someone is in my yard and i can talk to them wothout leaving my couch. Arlo cameras detects cara that drive by my house, even when my pet walks outside. Easy to install and no messy wires

Nice camera! Good motion capture function and easy install

I was expecting more convenience from these cameras seeing as they are wire free. But they die way too quickly so have to be constantly charged which now the batteries have be replaced because they don’t want to charge. And I try to angle the camera for a good view and it doesn’t hold the placement well. They did well through a good range of temperatures and the sound and picture quality is good. The app is not so great.
