Bought this specifically to capture people, but motion is just as easily triggered by visiting raccoons and cats. Gotta admit though, they’re not fond of the siren either!

So far this camera is working well. The video shows Great the sound to be able to talk to somebody is good but needs improvement. Connecting it to the hub there needs to be more information as to how to get this done and I think some improvements on the app and being able to have multiple people with access to only one account instead of adding a friend. You still lose access if you are only added as a friend but if you live in the same household together this doesn’t make much sense. Arlo needs to have better videos available on how to connect everything or connect to the hub and on the app as well.

Camera is easy to set up and performs well. I also have the Arlo video doorbell as well so combine together I feel I got great coverage. The 1080p video is crystal clear. There is a slight delay but hopefully will be fixed in a firmware/app update at a later time. I will be definitely buying a couple more essential cameras for the rest of the property for more coverage.

I received three Arlo Essentials Cameras with a solar panel for each camera in the mail. The installation was easy. I was able to select zones such as in front of the house to not alert every time some one drives by or just simple strolling down the side walk. I's able to monitor the activity around my home. download alerted videos, communicate using the camera and set off a siren if needed all using the app without monthly fees.

Quality is amazing, Motion detection is spot on, night vision is very clear. I would definitely recommend.

For the most part, this arlo essential camera is great! Set up, quality, and the app are all so smooth and great. Only thing that I wish was better is the 5-7 second delay from camera to phone.

Honesty i wouldn't recommend recommend the arlo cameras. The monthly fee on top of a subpar camera is a deal killer. Battery life is ok but recommend the solar charger

Got this for use in the garage. Works great. Only recommendation would be to make it possible to mount this with a magnetic mount like your other line of cameras.
