My new Arlo camera is just what I needed to secure my home!

an excellent home cam. great value and easy to install

The camera is great in that it doesn't need to be plugged in, doesn't need a base, and easy to install. You literally just pick a spot, and place it. The picture quality is fantastic, and the view range surprised me, as we can see the entire room and then some. My only complaint is there is a bit of a lag time from real time to what you see.

I didn’t expect these cameras to be this great ! The video and sound quality is excellent! The videos show very well and the spotlight is a nice added on feature! Arlo sends real time alerts so you know right then and there! Arlo can detect the difference between vehicles and a human ! I love my Arlo cameras and wouldn’t trade them for anything!

The camera quality is so amazing. The light is bright and they are super easy to install. Linking the cameras to the app was a breeze. The intuitiveness of the notifications and AI detection are amazing. Would recommend to anyone in the market for a security system and have told all of my friends about Arlo!

I bought 4 Essential XLs and 1 Video Doorbell (and hooked them up to the Essential Solar Panel which I had to buy from Amazon). THey all went up pretty well, but the documentation and explanation of how to do things with them is relatively poor. You can typically figure it out, but some things are still a bit unclear or don't work right. One of these was the Free Trial of Smart (which you almost have to use since the cameras (w/o the base station) cannot store video. Of the 4 XLs I bought 1 of them did not get the free trial. I chatted with support about this for 30 min and they said they woudl get back to me. They didn't. A week later I called support and had to go through the entire explanation again. After more than 30 minutes on the phone, I get handed off to another support group, who, when they finally answer, and for the 3rd time I explain the situation, they tell me I have to take the camera down and reset it, and remove it from my account, and start over because it sometimes works. Yes he said sometimes. So no 3 months of Smart on my key camera. And I tried his suggestion 3 times. Crappy support. Unreliable software. Cameras themselves seem OK.

Clear picture & video. Not to mention, the spotlight is a great feature. Great for those dark outdoor corners/areas of your home.

Great price on a quality camera with nice features

This is a Great Security Camera. The detections are updated and strong. The Battery should fix for slow charging.

It is one of the best investments I have made without a doubt, its installation is very easy and it practices the camera of very good quality and a great app that will always keep you alerting what is happening around your house without losing sight of it. I recommend they will not regret

This beauty captures audio and video of anything from an animal to a scum of the earth narcissist to who doesn’t pay bills but destroys your property. Don’t let the narcissist gaslight you saying they didn’t do something when THIS camera gives you all the proof you need!
