    It is awesome to have a doorbell camera, the doorbell works great but have intermittent network failure. it also skip to record some activities at times.

    This is not as easy as the ARLO Q cameras I have. Can’t turn off the phone call when alarmed..would be nice if there were options in the software. Really dislike that they want you to pay for video library after the first 90 days. So what good is it when you can’t store a video unless you subscribe?? The camera’s are able to self delete videos with no subscription..why not the doorbell…same app…ugh!

    Returned item and went back to Ring because I already had other ring products. Arlo was bit too large for my siding where doorbell is.

    Good for people ringing the bell only

    It’s great when people ringing the bell but it’s giving me alerts for every car passing by even I set the alarm zones, they don’t work as supposed to be working

    I don’t usually find products on the modern market that I feel are a total ripoff, but I do feel that way about this annoying doorbell. The activity zones do not work and motion is detected by even the slightest movement of landscaping or every car that drives by our house in the neighborhood. We don’t even use the camera features which defeats the purpose of paying so much for a video doorbell. Until Arlo comes out with firmware that actually works, this thing is junk

    Very hard to install unless you are a professional technician. Not as easy as they say it is on the product. Price should be lower for that reason

    Overall, very good product and good value. My main complaint is the limitations in customizing the alarm. I tried setting up notifications so the doorbell is only armed at night, but afters day or two it gets messed up and is active during the day and off at night. Also, I’ve seen other door alarms that can easily be disarmed through the app for 30, 60, etc. minutes; not this one.

    had to get transformer to power the thing. I should have gone with the wireless one. also needs to be thinner. tight squeeze near door jam.

    Doesn't have great resolution. Always seems to be a little delay. The night vision works off and on. Considering trying a ring doorbell.

    To anyone looking for a decent video doorbell, take note that this one from Arlo is decent but is really only fully functional with their monthly Arlo Secure subscription. When the free trial ended, we opted not to renew to see how it functions - you're left with a camera that you can only view livestream, which seems to defeat the purpose of having a video doorbell in the first place because who really has time to keep the video feed going constantly? Not me! So without the subscription, it's pretty useless. I'd keep looking and maybe spend more money to invest in a system that doesn't require a monthly subscription for great features like active zones, sirens, smart detection, etc.

    We installed Arlo several weeks ago. Everything that was needed was included. Instructions were clear and installation was easy. One thing to be aware of with stucco - the mounting plate needed to be caulked for the doorbell to sit properly against the wall. Field of vision is very good and activity notification to phone is reasonably quick. So far it's a thumbs up.

    Works perfect. Good range. Very clear. I would recommend this as a must for a camera covering the front of your house.
