Tried for a few hour, resetting the device on the back at least 7 times and it would ding every time it saw the photo on the phone. Wifi on the phone is set up exactly as the Arlo network but still undiscoverable. Worse yet when you go back inside the app it has you punch all the information in there again. Certain times it makes you go through all the installation steps to get to the wifi set up. Horrible app needs to be fixed. Now waiting for tech support to call sometime today to assist. Its interesting that the reviews are so good on this device but when you go to the Arlo community and support there are numerous problems with getting this device to join the network.

After I installed, I tried to find an answer to the problem. I found a lot of people posting on their support site that it’s broken. There are better options out there.

Horrible Audio Lag

The video portion of this product has been outstanding. We have loved being able to see and be notified of people at our door. The audio portion has been horrible. The lag is unacceptable. You can't even have a conversation through the doorbell. We are set up with fiber internet and a newer router. Searching online shows that many others are having this same issue. Lag time for the audio is anywhere from 10-15 seconds and makes having a conversation with anyone impossible.

It doesn’t pick up motion like it should and with the Arlo having a poor system and application it makes it that much more difficult to render services.
