    When I purchased this unit there was free cloud storage for short video's. They changed the rules and now unless you buy their subscription plan you get no video storage at all. Forget it go with something else. I'll never buy another Arlo product. There are other wiser products out there with free cloud storage. Be wise and skip this one.

    This is not a good product, app logs you out and doesn't let you to log in again. wasted 6 hours on calls with customer service but it happens every day. Video doesn't show on Amazon Alexa show. I don't recommend to buy this product

    Bought & it didn’t work. Difficult to get support & when it wasn’t an easy fix, the person I did get ahold of via chat was eager to dismiss me. I have a whole Arlo system & I wish I would have gone with another system. The thing still isn’t working & nobody can tell me why.

    Purchased 2 of the doorbells which were installed by Best Buy techs. Although they were familiar and had never installed one, they eventually got them to work. Although video quality is not as good as the nest hello I had at my previous home, they seem to work ok for the most part.

    After comparing several different doorbell cameras, this was the one we decided on and are very happy with it.

    All the arlo stuff has turned out to be rather disappointing. I don't know if it's just all wireless home security cameras or what, but they drop connection, run out of batteries even with solar panels attached, aren't very high quality even though they're supposed to be 4k, etc. This doorbell is similar in all respects. The installer must have missed something because every time someone presses the doorbell I get an alert on my phone saying someone is tampering with the doorbell. I really just wish I could return everything altogether and try another vendor at this point. 4 cameras & 2 solar panels in total.

      In regards of the tampering notifications, It’s possible that the wiring anyplace between the transformer and doorbell has a break or that the terminals on either the doorbell or transformer don't have a good connection. Anything that would break the connection, even temporarily, would do this.

    worked,then became undetectable

    It initially worked but after about 5 weeks it stopped. After speaking w Arlo support about 8 times and uninstalling,reinstalling etc etc it would no longer find the doorbell to be connected to my wifi. Never heard back from Arlo support and can no longer return the item because Returns window has closed.
