    The doorbell doesn't sync. Even after resetting base and doorbell! Arlo customer service is not helpful at all, returning the product. I've tried everything they told me, found more useful information on YouTube so maybe Arlo should get rid of the tech staff and refer customers to YouTube.

    Dropped Signal to Android.

    Doorbell kept dropping signal. I have an iPhone (ios) and my wife has a Google Pixel 4a (Android). When the doorbell rings and my wife ansers on her phone, the signal drops. Attempts with Arlo Helpdesk have been futile.

    Not happy. They give you 3 months of all the features and then they stop unless you pay for a subscription. It will detect motion only and won’t save the video. Also it seems like the internet connection all of a sudden sucks. If I could return this I would. I should have bought another blink.

    We wired the doorbell to our existing doorbell wiring and for some reason it is putting off a signal to my refrigerator which is near the door chime and it makes my refrigerator make a very loud noise when it is hooked up. It is not a smart refrigerator just a regular one. It also is making my door chime continually ring. I’m not sure if it is the transmitter on the doorbell. I had to unhook it before it did damage to my refrigerator. I went to and called Best Buy but they did not have a solution. I was really hoping it would work because when it was hooked up except for these problems it was working good. Hopefully someone reading this will have a solution to fixing it.

    Stopped working in Texas hot weather. It was advertised as working in any wether conditions. Reached out to the Arlo customer support but they were unable to assist.

    Had to bring back we were not able to hard wire this to our home. No way to got the rechargeable ring that is Edgar i would recommend if you can't hardwired.

    I bought this product during sale and got a defective piece. Went to best buy to swap it and got charged the original price as the product isn't on sale and they didn't have the same color. Very disappointed and will never go to bby for further business.

    This device has a built-in anti theft feature. One hour after installation and after working just fine, it activated the anti theft and LOCKED itself. I spent HOURS on the phone with the techs. Even they had to admit that the produce is buggy as a result of the anti-theft feature. Wait for the next version...

    Huge audio delay when talking through camera

    I don't understand the high reviews for this doorbell camera. One of the main functions, speaking through the camera - ie two way talk - either manually initiated or when someone rings the doorbell DOES NOT WORK (at least on their Android app). Well, it works, but there is a 5-10 second delay (BOTH WAYS!) to hear the audio. This makes it completely useless to have a conversation. I can't talk to my family when they get home and are unloading the car. I can't talk to people at my door. Just search online for "Arlo doorbell audio delay" and look for yourself. This issue goes back years (at least since 2017) and Arlo still can't fix it and this is not unique to the doorbell. The same issue happens with their top end Ultra 2 cameras (I had 5) connected to their smart hub base. My doorbell (wired) was directly connected to my top end Netgear Orbi 6E mesh system with gigabit (1000 Mbps) internet up and down. The main router was roughly 15 feet away from the doorbell. The issue was present at all times even if I was on the same wireless connection as the doorbell, my work wireless, or mobile 5G data. I'm using a current, flagship Android phone with the latest Arlo app update. No amount of rebooting (phone, doorbell, router), removing the doorbell from my account, resetting it and adding it back, uninstalling the app and reinstalling it fixed the issue. Arlo's support is terrible. I work in IT and deal a lot with tech support groups from all different companies. Arlo ranks among the top in the lack of understanding of their own products and just providing terrible assistance. After opening a ticket with them about this issue, clearly explaining the audio delay and also explaining all the forums about this problem dating back years, the Arlo tech support rep's response was sending me a link about how to use the talk feature in the app (ie press the microphone icon to speak). I couldn't believe it. Given the long history of this issue with no hope of a resolution, I returned the doorbell. Would absolutely not recommend this product. Your experience may vary (like iPhone users), but there were iPhone users in the forums I read having the same issue.
