    We purchased this for a new home construction and did not open until time to install. The camera would not open so we took it back to Best Buy and they said we are stuck with it. Not again, will not purchase anything else here.

    Lasts only 2.5years and now it stopped working. Not sure if this is one off or it’s just the lifespan of such is quite short

    The power converter that attaches inside the chime doesn't generate enough power to make the doorbell work properly and it impedes the proper function of the door bell. I thought it may be the chime itself, so I bought a brand new door chime but the same thing happened. Without the power converter the door chime works great. Also, once the door bell is rung using Arlo, a voice asks if you want to record a message but it is so loud, my you can hear it across the street. I'm still trying to figure out how to turn down the volume.

    Don't buy this product. What they do not tell you on the box is that unless you pay for their subscription plan every month then most of the features mentioned will not work.

      Remote and local live streaming
      Push notifications
      Auto Zoom and Tracking*
      Two-way audio
      Local storage recording* (when connected to a compatible Arlo SmartHub/base station)
      *Auto zoom and tracking and local storage recording are not available for all Arlo devices.

    The AV lag when speaking to visitors through the doorbell is frustrating. I wish also that the alerts were more customizable. I like it just fine though, which I guess is the point.

    6 months in and the night recording is horrible. Super low frame rate and total black or bright white. Useless.

    The camera keeps going offline and made me missed a lot of people ringing the doorbell. Also the motion capturing also tend to miss and overall it’s just a terrible smart doorbell.
