    Really good viewing angles and decent video quality. Were live the functionality of the automated voice messages and the ability for people to leave a message if no one answers the doorbell call. The only thing we had an issue with is connecting this to our Arlo 3 base station, but it was able to connect through wifi pretty easily.

    Notifications are usually on point. If your pre-existing doorbell wiring and transformer are all in working condition then its easy. The video clips that it saves sometimes don't catch everything if its longer then 30 seconds it appears. I'm enjoying it though.

    I tried the ring doorbell and as soon as I installed it the picture was blurry and their was lag time and a week wifi signal so I sent it back. Purchased the arlo because of the great reviews and I must say the picture looks absolutely lovely and detailed. It even picked up a fox roaming in the yard late at night which was really cool

    This camera is high quality even when zooming in on objects. You can adjust the settings as necessary and the setup was incredibly easy! Highly recommend!

    Arlo brings the same quality, ease and feature set to their doorbell that they do to their camera line in general. You're not going to find many in the field with the vision range, spotlight, basically free storage - and NONE with a built in siren. No reason to look anywhere else.

    When I first bought this doorbell I liked it. It took a little getting used to, but I learned about "Activity Zones" which allowed me to basically narrow the camera's field of vision to alert me only when there was activity within the zones I selected. This significantly reduced the number of notifications I received, and all was good. BUT - my free 3 month subscription was ending so I purchased the $3 per month subscription - Activity Zones don't work without the subscription - and this doorbell is more trouble than it is worth without activity zones! You get notified every time a car goes by - very annoying. After purchasing the subscription, I continued to be barraged with emails from Arlo telling me my subscription was running out and that I needed to purchase one - which was annoying - and somewhat concerning. Then suddenly the Activity Zones stopped working. I tried and tried and TRIED to figure it out and to research possible causes and solutions on the web. This was frustrating to say the least. I FINALLY found a way to contact Arlo (they don't make it easy) and had another frustrating experience with their tech support who suddenly disconnected from our chat session before resolving anything. I reconnected with another person who was able to walk me through some simple troubleshooting steps that fixed the problem: Log out of the app, turn off cellular data, and log back in. When I asked what caused this problem the response was "sometimes the system gets glitched". Had finding help for this been easier, I would be a very happy customer. My impression however is that Arlo makes it WAY too difficult to find and connect with any 'live' or 'real' support - most inquires took me to articles and posts - none of which helped, then to automated responses based on the question I typed - which also did not help. There are plenty of other video doorbells on the market - I don't know if any of them are any better at support, but I certainly would NOT choose Arlo again. Too bad, they do have a decent product overall.

    Installed the video doorbell last week and there were no issues. Works pretty great although I do wish the notifications got sent a little earlier as it usually doesn't send it until someone is already at the front door. Other than that, I've been really pleased with the service and the product.

    Received as a gift for Christmas. Pretty excited and installed that day. Everything worked fairly well. There seemed to be a delay, but caught everything. Fast forward to Valentine's weekend. It was cold and the temperature dropped into the -teens. Website states lowest operating temp is -4, but noticed and recalled a 1 year warranty. Started to receive tamper notifications. At 1 am on Feb 15 doorbell stops working. It didn't even default to just the doorbell chime. So, after it got much warmer and didn't work, what was my first thought? It's cold. Needs to warm up. Still nothing. Not even an LED light. Then I think maybe I need to reboot/reset the internet link. Nope. Next, maybe I need to do a hard reset. Still not working. Okay, maybe it's my wiring? Nope. Checked receiving current. Check at the box. Everything is good. Last resort...maybe it's the doorbell? Reattached my old one... BINGO! So, obtained the receipt to exchange my doorbell. Started a chat and the first person I spoke to, I answered all the questions and waited. Got disconnected. Started a new chat answered all the same questions. One of them that threw me? What's the volt reading at the doorbell and what's the voltage reading at the transformer. Then, after going through all of that, they asked me to do a hard reboot again. Was on chat for three hours with three different people because of disconnection and I still haven't received a response about getting a replacement. Will be looking at a better option.

    Better than the Ring Doorbell

    Had the Ring Doorbell for over a year and recently I bought and install Arlo Pro Wired-Doorbell and definitely the Arlo Pro Wired-Doorbell is much better product, quality of the product, better resolution and goes into my Arlo Plan I already have.

    Camera installed quickly since my existing wiring was compatible. Need the cloud subscription to identify by object type. Trying to run this and 3 Pro 3’s on one base is a challenge due to range issues and my home layout
