No good for Minnesota
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The picture quality is just ok, certain images were pixelated. This just broke because it is only rated for 4 below so Minnesota broke this item. Now it doesn't even work as a doorbell.

DO NOT BUY ANY ARLO PRODUCTS

Every time you contact them, the last resort will be RMA (return merchandise authorization) and you have to pay for the shipping fee even if you are still under 1 year warranty. Low volume speaker.

Chimes will NOT ring when Sun shines on doorbell.

After numerous exchanges with Arlo Customer Support, they tried to blame BestBuy saying they sold me a refurbished product. After disproving them, they told me it's a product limitation. When the Sun shines on it, it heats up and the doorbell will NOT ring. That make this device useless in the Summertime.

This product and company are grabage. READ below

Even Best Buy could not get a working customer support number. Second. DO NOT BUY if you have an existing Arlo system. I had a 5 camera system, it REQUIRES a 120 dollar a year plan for this single camera to work. It's SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS over five years for the video doorbell to work with your existing Arlo system.

Looking for something better

2.4ghz only, Frequently drops connection.

I would return it if I could, Best Buy’s 15d return period is just too short for a product like this.
