    No good for Minnesota

    The picture quality is just ok, certain images were pixelated. This just broke because it is only rated for 4 below so Minnesota broke this item. Now it doesn't even work as a doorbell.

    Don't bother, blows transformers, doesn't work well, delay/lag is ridiculous.

    DO NOT BUY ANY ARLO PRODUCTS

    These products are not worth the price and are not reliable. They are often offline and lack recordings. Every time you contact them, the last resort will be RMA (return merchandise authorization) and you have to pay for the shipping fee even if you are still under 1 year warranty. Low volume speaker.

    Chimes will NOT ring when Sun shines on doorbell.

    Doorbell will not ring chime when the Sun shines on it! After numerous exchanges with Arlo Customer Support, they tried to blame BestBuy saying they sold me a refurbished product. After disproving them, they told me it's a product limitation. When the Sun shines on it, it heats up and the doorbell will NOT ring. That make this device useless in the Summertime.

    First thing, they have ZERO customer support or warranty. Even Best Buy could not get a working customer support number. Second. DO NOT BUY if you have an existing Arlo system. I had a 5 camera system, it REQUIRES a 120 dollar a year plan for this single camera to work. It's SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS over five years for the video doorbell to work with your existing Arlo system.

    Looking for something better

    Worked great until free trial ended then started to give problems logging in or authenticating through the app. It also has a long delay when trying to talk to person on the other end gets very frustrating.

    2.4ghz only, Frequently drops connection.

    Frequently goes offline, limited to 2.4ghz network so neighbors’ wifi can really interfere with outdoor reception. I would return it if I could, Best Buy’s 15d return period is just too short for a product like this.
