I was torn between the battery powered and the wired and ended up going with this one. I had to get a special mounting plate so that it would line flush with my siding but other than that, installation was pretty simple. My only complaint is that there is a decent delay with communicating.

Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the Arlo Video Doorbell. It was relatively simple to install and I find the connection stable and fast. My grandmother lives with us and is normally home alone all day so it's nice to be able to see what people are coming to the door when we aren't there. I find the detection for packages and vehicles very accurate, and it always detects people, night and day. I am looking forward to testing out the other features.

I have used this video doorbell for a little over a month now and I’m happy with the purchase. There are still a few things that can be better with notifications but the product is good overall. I still get notifications for vehicles even though I turned them off in the Arlo app. Hope this can be fixed via an update someday.

Picked Arlo among other brands in the market because I liked the sleek design and it is not bulky like some other products in the market. Easy to install as well. The only thing I want to have is the video connection with Alexa. I thought I could see the visitors on Alexa, but Alexa only announces when the visitor presses the doorbell.

Bought this to replace a Ring doorbell. Video Quality vastly surpasses my Ring, I don't have to pay to see recordings from it, and it alerts me right away whereas Ring would sometimes be delayed to the point of whatever or whoever was there has already left. Absolutely love this and glad to have all my video security under the same umbrella. The only negative is how long it took to drill into my brick to mount it, but that's no fault of the product!

We have the Arlo Pro 2 system and wanted to replace the front door camera with a proper video doorbell. Arlo did a great job with this product and it works well within the existing app. It is a bummer that it doesn't save videos to the hub's local storage like the Arlo Pro 2 cameras and it requires a subscription unlike the Arlo Pro 2 but those are minor gripes given how good this doorbell camera is. It is incredibly competitive on price as well.

Works well. Was easy to install and monthly service is inexpensive. It can be annoying if it’s set to pick up everything it sees. It does have a bit of a delay when people speak through it. But it serves the purpose I have for it.

Works great in my HomeKit setup. Wide area view can see top to bottom on my front porch. A little distortion from the fisheye lens. Doesn’t record through HomeKit so you’ll have to use the Arlo app to see recorded video.

Easy to install and connect to existing chime. The installation process is basically following the phone app. I can see that could be difficult for certain chimes that don't wire like the ones i the photos. Luckily mine looks exactly like the one in the photo and it worked well. The thing I don't like is that I have to pay subscription to see the videos, when other doorbells like Eufy offer free videos.

Really easy to set up and it works just as expected. Whenever it detects motion there will be a recording and notification on the phone. Gives us the feeling of security. Really happy with this purchase.

This replaced a cheaper, older video doorbell that never worked right. Love the features and the ability to see clearly who is at the front door. The only problem I have had, unfortunately, is that I only get a gray screen when talking to the person at the front door but I hope future firmware upgrades can solve this problem.
