Easy to install and very clear view and sound of the area.

We had already purchased the arlo base station and cameras for the home. So when they came out with a doorbell we bought it. works flawlessly with existing wiring in the home (our home was built in 2001) and links up to the base station with ease. I think it works better than the Ring products because its using a dedicated network unlike some of the other products.

Set up was little quirky. Unit had no charge at all so I had to check postings and find it likely it didn't have enough charge? So after an hour I could finish up setup. And the blinking light is red. Not amber. I am very disappointed that when you ring the doorbell, it is impossible to set it up to ring on any Google speaker or display. Onky rings to phone or indoor chime. This is a major major shortcoming for this product that could be a no go for many people. By the time I got to install it I was too late to return. Nest cams ring right to display and show you who is at door automatically. That's worth the higher price. Aspect of camera view is nice, but not worth the absence of ringing to a display or speaker.

Significant improvement over the voice only Arlo doorbell we had prior. My biggest concern was that people could not hear us over the non camera doorbell. This unit is not only loud, the camera quality is great. Having it hardwired, it is nice knowing that I won’t accidentally forget to change the batteries in time.

Install and setup was straightforward. Just make sure you have a fast internet connection and strong wifi for it to work properly. Overall functioning poorly for me with a 1 mbps upload speed. Also value will be limited without maintaining a subscription service!

I have to say the setup of this doorbell was complicated. The doorbell system that I have was not of the standard doorbell system which was my issue. Once I installed a normal doorbell with chime, I was able to finally get the camera doorbell installed. I also had to upgrade my doorbell transformer to generate enough power (16v) for the doorbell. Anyone seeing the red and white light flashing on the camera should wait about 15 minutes. I waited and came back and the saw where the solid white light was visible. From there, I follow the instructions within the app. So far the camera picks up on the motions and doorbell. However, I have noticed that when talking live, the picture is really bad. Lots of gray pixels. Not sure what is going on with that. I am hoping with the next firmware update will correct this. One disappointing item is you will have to upgrade your plan to utilize all of the features with this camera. Over all I am pleased.

We have been using the video doorbell for about a week now. It is working great! We were concerned because we previously owned the audio doorbell and you could barely hear anything through it. Not with the video doorbell. Clear video and the speaker is much louder and clear. We sold our house with our Arlo pro cameras. This will make a great first piece of our new system.

I love my Arlo video door bell. I did alot of research between Arlo and Ring. I like that Arlo has a bigger field of vision so you can see your packages on the ground by the door ( my wife gets lots of packages!). It was very easy to install and works great. I have a few Amazon Alexas and they tell me when anyone is at the door. Great product!

Great door bell. Get good quality videos and can control the motion

Great video quality, but the lag time is unbelievable. Since this is supposed to be a video door bell, Arlo needs to figure out how to solve the lag issue. The lag time can be up to 10 seconds from what I’ve experienced. Also, this camera connects via 2.4 GHz wifi, so I had to shut down the 5GHz on my mess system to get the camera setup up. Then reconnect the 5GHz wifi. Reason being that my phone wanted to connect to the 5 by the camera was on the 2.4. Wasn’t all that difficult once I figured out the issue, but what a pain in the.... I here that Ring has the same lag time issues. So I guess it’s a matter of brand preference.

The camera works great with our other Arlo products. It’s the second one I’ve purchased - I wasn’t able to get the first one (purchased elsewhere) to connect to our network and eventually broke it. This time, I had the Geek Squad install it. The tech they sent had it up and running with no issues. Lesson learned.

Clear quality videos and great audio. Easy to install.

Installing the doorbell was super easy with the step-by-step instructions in the app. However, we struggled to get the doorbell to stay connected to the internet and to ring the chime. After calling support a couple of times, it randomly decided to work. So far no issues since then. Good quality picture. A lot of notifications since we are in a neighborhood - still trying to figure out how to limit the notifications. Overall, pleased with the purchase.

Great 180 view, good camera, and other features. The big annoying thing about it is its mounting rackets. They do not completely close and lock in place. One needs to make lots of adjustments and put this doorbell in place.

Great Have the wireless one too and it captures great quality and audio. There are some challenges with responding to someone at the door through the bell and sometimes delays when someone walks by but overall not bad.

Set up easily and has great video coverage. Very user friendly.
