the fact that Arlo detects motion before you even get to the door, I tried the ring before but , to activate the motion detection someone has to ring the doorbell which was stupid, but the Arlo is quick to detect , and if you are not home it calls your phone , I feel safe with Arlo , and I don't have to worry about my house or my kids

I use the Arlo camera system and really could not wail for them to come out with a video doorbell. For me it does not disappoint. I really like how easy it works with the Arlo app so I have the cameras and the doorbell all in one easy to use location. Great view of my front porch and will identify the difference between people, packages, vehicles, and animals.

Bought this Arlo doorbell camera about a month and a half ago and I’m absolutely pleased with the overall experience of having it. The camera quality is great! The only thing that bothers me is there is a delay when someone rings the doorbell to when the arlo calls my phone but other than that it alerts me on time and is great to have! Thanks Arlo!

Doorbell works as advertised! We love the full view that the camera offers. The video is crisp & clear as is the audio. It’s everything that we were looking for in a doorbell camera. The installation was a breeze with no hiccups or problems. Once the firmware updated, it was rolling live. The whole installation from start to video was less than 30 minutes.

It has great video quality and works well. Install was easy.

Bought the wired Arlo doorbell and my wife and I love it so far. It took us a while to decide which one to get it was either Arlo or ring and after multiple videos and searching up reviews we made our choice. And boy did you guys not disappoint A+ Great camera quality, great audio quality all around great product highly recommend!!

Good and excellent device, good video quality easy to install

Love the features of it records video like it should great motions range good clarity. Lately though when someone rings it has a bad delay in my door bell also the video recording screen has been cut in half for some reason this could be such a great video doorbell.

This doorbell has a great picture quality and works wonderfully. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because Arlo for some reason won’t allow this to be used with HomeKit like their other cameras are. I ended up returning it due to that feature missing.

Great value and good picture for the $$$. Easy enough to set-up.

This was bought to add to our Arlo camera system. It did take some tinkering with our exisiting doorbell (you have to wire-in something on the chime in the house), and some more tinkering with replacing the exisiting oldfashioned doorbell. We were able to do it, in a couple of hours, but you really do need a drill & some time. If you're not stable on a ladder (to reach the inside door chime box) and don't have/can't operate a drill, then you might consider paying for Installation. Overall it required some setup to get it added into our existing ARLO system, and the bonus is that it's 'wired' so no batteries to recharge/replace. The quality is ok, does its job so far. We've tested the actual doorbell-talking-through-it function which isn't perfect, lots of sound issues. It seems to pick up most cars going by (unless they're stupid speeders going Way Too Fast on our residential street). It is OK but maybe future versions will be improved?

Camera works well, but is not compatible with every hub. We have Arlo pro 2 & the hub wasn’t compatible. A friend had an extra hub that was compatible so we didn’t have to buy one. Make sure your hub is compatible. It lags a bit when you get a notification.

I just installed the Arlo Video Doorbell and so far it's a neat little device. Trying to get the right sensitivity for notifications is proving to be a challenge. However overall I am pleased with app and the video quality and the cloud service trial too.

This is only good if you already have a Arlo setup it's worth the investment. You can use the motion sensor to trigger the Arlo door time before someone even rings it. Best quality out of all the video doorbell cameras I've viewed. The only negative is if you have a older base station it will not connect to the base station only to the cloud

This doorbell has been a great addition to the house. It was pretty easy to install and works with our wired doorbell chime, so we got both a video notice / cell phone notice and the doorbell chimes, as it always did. It has been fun seeing people try to figure out where to push the doorbell - but they usually "get it."

I was in the market for a new video doorbell since the one I was using was apart of my former alarm system. As I did research I found that this door bell checked all the boxes I was looking for. Since I got it I haven't had a single regret with it's ease of function and support on my phone and google displays. I love it!!
