Intercom replacement

Had to purchase a new faceplate from Faceplates.com to cover the larger hole. No instructions for integration of power module into the intercom base station. Had to have an electrician figure it out. Have Arlo cameras as well and pleased with the overall system's clarity and software.

The one thing I don’t like is when someone comes to the door it rings my phone. I wish there was a way to choose between ringing my phone or the chime, not just ringing my phone. I would recommend this though. I’m glad we decided on this Arlo Video Doorbell.

But the unit's software for detecting movement in zones DOES NOT WORK. I've gotten used to getting notification every time a car passes by outside of the zones. Why bother? The smart notification features to exclude automobiles doesn't work either. It was working fine with this limitation for a few weeks...and then... After a few weeks, the actual doorbell feature stopped working. So now every time someone's at the door and rings the doorbell, I am notified only via the app, which is a few seconds behind - so you can't really converse with whoever is there. When it was new (and it was correctly installed on our mechanical doorbell), it would behave like a regular doorbell...now it doesn't. I wanted to return it but I just passed my returnable date on 8/8...sigh...

Though there did seem to be some compatibility issues with my door bell chime.
