overall I'm happy with the video doorbell. The only downside has been of late, it loses contact with the Home Base unit and hasn't been recording video. I've tried several times on suggestions of how to correct the problem through the Arlo communities but it hasn't resolved the problem and other users believe it might be a software issue.

My wife and I recently bought a home and wanted a camera to help us with security, especially with a little one in the house. This camera has great image quality and the app is very easy to use. I highly recommend it.

Really like Arlo products, Had the cameras So got the doorbell to go with. All work great together.

Have the whole Arlo sustem. There are great features at a high level but many “glitches” in the app where cameras are not always accessible when you want them to be and only one person can be logged in and viewing a camera at a time. For the system price, I think there are better security options out there.

Installation should clarify 3500 base station not supported else everything worked great

Got rid of my Ring for this. Well worth it. Much better camera quality than the Ring

I had a RING doorbell for years but I was never pleased with its video sensors, this changed when I got my new ARLO video doorbell. I can set activity zones and the camera has higher resolution and a wider viewing angle. It also integrates nicely with my other ARLO video devices. I am very happy with my new ARLO video doorbell.

The actual doorbell works fine. Video quality is good, audio is good. The problem is the app. It crashes when you try to answer doorbell remotely and sometimes when your viewing videos They really need to support HomeKit secure video but they won’t.

Arlo doorbell is the only doorbell that was compatible with Alexa and Google, has low profile and such vast feature set - such package identification, recording messages and every single doorbell rings on my phone as phone call - i am very happy with video resolution and the camera coverage - this bell actually talks ! and walks the talk :)

Works great clear footage love that it's wired and never have to charge the batteries.

I would have rated this higher except that there are limited options for how it is mounted. You can either mount it flat against a wall or it comes with an extra pice that gives you a bit of an ability to aim it in a different direction. But in real life, that's pretty limited and not as functional as it could be.

Easy to install and set up. Very reliable and definitely recommend.

I've been using the Arlo for a couple of weeks now. When I first installed myself it was easy, I have a 1985 home with original doorbell and chime. The chime had 4 wires because I have a side doorbell as well, but it was still simple. The notifications of the motion and the identity of what the motion is, is great. The audio is clear, daytime video is clear but the nighttime is where there's a need for improvement. The video might seem clear, until motion is detected, then whatever object is that's moving, whether it be a person or car....becomes Pixelated. I hope this is just a simple came of a new firmware update to fix this or maybe I just have a faulty camera? I might have to contact support soon and see what resolution we have other than to have to exchange

It is everything it said it is! Very easy to install with existing wiring. Excellent 180 degree field of view. Plan to get one for other door.
