    So far it’s been working out well! Does the job I need it to do! It is a little sensitive but I’m still learning how to adjust it to my liking. Overall I would recommend this camera doorbell

    Works great. App is a little clunky until you set up parameters of when it alerts you. But it works as advertised and has been flawless so far.

    This has an excellent field of vision and you can set zones so it is not alerting you to every passing car. It does take a few seconds to notify you of a visitor though, so it is not instantaneous.

    All ready had a problem with it, it’s not even a year old. When it worked, it was nice but I will be getting a different camera doorbell.

    I love my Arlow doorbell! Just make sure that you have good wireless internet! If you don't the connection won't be very good.

    I love not only how the Arlo Video Doorbell looks but how well it works! The picture is so clear, even at night. I also like the option of having it ring to my phone if someone rings the doorbell and we are not home. It was a great purchase!

    Had some problems with the installation, but Arlo suppport was great help. The camera could not read the code on my phone. Switched to ipad and camera read it perfectly. Doorbell works as expected.

    It distinguishes between human and non-human well. The BIG issue is that the notification that is sent if via email. That is NOT a satisfactory way to alert someone at my door as I'm lucky if I check my email once per day. I want an instant notification that is some type of audible alert.

    The Arlo was easy to install but didn't work well with my existing Blink system...too many apps to install.

    Once I got the correct voltage to and from my old wired doorbell, it worked great.

    A bit tricky to self-install, but there are several videos to help. Good idea to decide if you need the beveled mount BEFORE installing it so you don’t have to re-do. If your door frame is close to an entry wall you’ll probably need the bevel p,ate.

    Great no matter the temperature

    We love this doorbell since it works no matter the temperature. We have the arlo wireless system but it stops working when the temperature gets to be 0 and below. The only problem we had is we had to get a larger doorbell transformer to work with this camera.

    The Arlo doorbell is great but you do have to buy the $2.99 subscription for it otherwise what’s the point.

    The doorbell is pretty good all around. One thing I think could be improved is the motion sensor. Even at max sensitivity I have to be right next to the door in order for it to detect

    It took longer to install then it said and then it didn't work. But that wasn't the Arlo. We had to buy a new router with an extension so that the doorbell & video could go through to the internet. Once we did that it works great!

    Love the doorbell and things have worked well so far. A couple gripes… adding the doorbell to Apple Homekit made all of my cameras unusable. Had to reset all of my Arlo devices and the add them back into homekit. The kit also does not come with a solution to mount your doorbell on siding. Ended up having to develop my own solution using the provided mounts which took a couple of hours. How the provided mounts are designed made this step more difficult then it should have been.

    Not Great Buy

    I spent quite some time researching doorbells (Wirecutter, Consumer Reports, and of course Best Buy) — deciding that the Arlo was a reasonable candidate. The Arlo Doorbell checked all my boxes: - Reasonably priced - Independently owned - Interoperability with Google Home, Alexa, and Apple's HomeKit Unfortunately, the wireless chipset and antenna's struggle to maintain a low latency connection. That caused unbearable audio and video disruptions rendering is useless. The access point that it's connected to is roughly 30 feet away from the doorbell. Because you need to buy another Arlo base to use Homekit, I realized the total cost of ownership was just the same as buying a Google Nest doorbell. So I exchanged it and it's 100x better.
