Overall works great, installs easy and looks great. Only minor compliant is the video lag, while talking to someone on the doorbell and your phone.

perfect gift for sister in law -- exactly what she wanted. didnt realize there were two colors of this doorbell and I could only find the all black at best buy

The doorbell itself works great but won't do anything if you don't have the subscription plan. Also the doorbell plan can not be combined with the regular ARLO camera plan.

We were so happy to hear Arlo came out with a video doorbell! This ties into our Arlo Pro security camera setup nicely. We haven’t had any problems with it so far.

Have owned for 2 years and was mostly pleased (4 stars), but one of my pet peeves is bait and switch. A product that works fine, suddenly stops working fine after a software update. One of the features of the doorbell is Alexa integration. Alexa notifies you if there is motion at the door. Well, it worked great untill a few months back. Now it falsely notifies of motion constantly. The Arlo app itself doesn't send a motion notification, only Alexa - so it has something to do with integration. And, per the official forums, lots of people have this problem with no solution. Arlo response "working as designed", Well that's crap. It worked, now it doesn't. I still have products from 20-30 years ago that still work exactly as designed with no loss of functionality. Is it really so hard to make sure your products continue to provide the functionality you promised when you sold them.

Video is not quite as clear as my last Ring doorbell. Did not realize that I needed to subscribe for service to retain videos after the first three months of use.

bought this for home use. The camera was easy to install and still keeps the original doorbell as well as not having to recharge batteries. The camera is clear and works well in dark and light - This one has very little latency /delay between the triggered motion and the actual camera results

Super simple to install when wired is not an option. Easy to use app and the battery lasts much longer than the Arlo Pro4 camera batteries.

Awesome addition to our regular Arlo camera system. I love that we are not forced into paying for a cloud storage system like other video doorbells (RING).

This is my second Arlo Video Doorbell. Same problems with both. The angle plate makes installation difficult. It warps easy, making connecting the actual camera to the baseplate challenging, if not impossible. The screws and anchors need to be drilled at an angle. Getting the correct angle if you're drilling in stucco with a masonry bit is not covered in any instructions. Stucco is not meant to be drilled that way. Try it and you see how it spalls off, requiring a stucco patch. The integration with with the Arlo App is purely cosmetic. There doesn't seem to be any real advantage to sticking with Arlo versus any other more reliable doorbell. The worst aspect is the WiFi connectivity. This DOES NOT connect to your base station. It uses WiFi and mimics connectivity through the app. The lag is SO bad, using a consistent Arlo device renders it ineffective.
