Easy Install & Great Product

Just make sure your chime is 16-24 volts with the wired doorbell. Caused a bit of a hiccup but once up and running it's been fantastic. Great night vision clarity too! 5/5 stars, no complaints.

First issue is the delay. Expect to get anywhere from 30 seconds to more than a minute delay when motion or activity is detected. Video AND voice delay. Communicating through the doorbell was so annoying that I ended up turning off the feature. Next, the doorbell doesn’t even record all the activity happening. Always cuts the recordings short. And yes, this with the Arlo Secure subscription as well. What is the point of paying the monthly subscription plan if the extra smart notifications and recordings don’t work as expected?! Next recurring issue is the doorbell will trigger motion every 30 seconds nonstop for no reason until it is either restarted or toggling settings on and off. Super annoying. Save yourself and try another brand.

Frustrating set up

Waited 2weekes for geek squad to deliver and install. He installed whole I downloaded the app. The Live feed worked great but when we pressed the doorbell and I accepted the call, the video went grey and I could not see or hear the subject. Tried to uninstall app, re-install, reset unit and no change. The geek squad guy couldn't figure it out either. He was awesome with attempting Everything to get it to work. Ended up taking it off my siding and returning it. Now I have 2 holes in my siding. :(

The lag time from when someone rings the doorbell to answering is slow. The live audio quality could improve. Annoyed that I can't see the image of the person before answering the call.
