Easy Install, Great Peace of Mind

This little device is brilliant. Simple to install, with attachments that make it easy to get the best positioning for your front door. It FaceTimes my iPhone almost immediately when someone rings the door bell, and the smart features have meant that it's skipped some of the needless notifications. Great peace of mind for minimal effort.

The sound is slightly muffled, but tolerable. I bought the all black version and it looks excellent and is noticeable. Am very happy with the Arlo recommendation the Best Buy rep gave me. Wish I had this sooner!

Great Quality / Easy Installation

I also got the Arlo Chime, and they are a perfect combination. The viewing angle is good and has clear video. My friend has a Ring and they are comparable. The installation was easy; just make sure you have tools and follow the instructions closely.

Better than the competition

This has better field of view and with the subscription it can tell the difference between people, vehicles, pets and packages, and notify accordingly. It also comes with an angle plate, so it is perfect to install to the side of the door. Also, it works with my google devices as an indoor chime and my video home device.

INCONVENIENT!!

The awful delay and having to take the battery off to recharge is annoying. All of this in addition to the frequent subscription price increases did not make this unit desirable. I have removed the unit and replaced it with a much more reliable video doorbell. Would not recommend.
